not sure after speaking to some mechanics today they said that if it was the sensor it would show when a code reader is attached so i'm not sure

been having problems with an oil pressure fault for some time now on my mk1 octavia vrs, fault will only show when oil is at normal operating temperature and the revs are between 1500 and 2000 rpm. after some research i started by checking the strainer removed cleaned was as new no dirt what so ever so decided to change the oil pump as no fault was reading when plugged up. run the car again let it warm up as usual all seemed well untill pulling away from traffic lights hit the rev range and 'beep beep beep' oil light on again. has anyone had this before as i am really lost as for what i should do next cheers

Hello everyone and thank you for such a helpful forum. I have been the proud owner of the octavia vrs for just over a year and couldn't be happier looking to mod a little just to give it the power I think it deserves and I'm sure I shall find many useful tips on this forum. Thanks
