  4. Yep ur a star mate... had a play about and as you said mate I was able to disable both side airbags!!! Woohoo Still comes up with a fault code Which just state that both are disabled , also causing the airbag light to flash 6 times upon ignition before eventually going out.. Is this something that cant be avoided do you know.. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  5. Cheers for the help mate Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  6. Really... what a relief mate that addition stuff went straight over my head so vcds go into long adaptation... im assuming your leon is of similar age??? Vcds is much easier on mk2s than the mk1s.. I hope it is as your leon... would save alot of bother Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  7. Do u still have the airbag module, rear drivers side tail light and ashtray/ stereo surround?? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah I could stick the old seats back in for test purposes but ideally if I can figure out another way to code.. Trundlenut!! never too far in matters of VCDS!!.. have you come across anyone who has done this??? I cant seem to find definite answer.. in theory if can just tell the airbag module its actually in a vrs rather than an elegance than it would no longer try to communicate with seat airbags. Doing this seems a little more complex. .. The coding seems different no installation list n no long coding helper... just asks for 4 or 5 digit number if I remember. 9. Right ive just brought another octavia.. this time a mark 1.. its an elegance but has retrofitted Vrs seats.... obviously with airbag fault due to lack of seats having any.. What are the options to bypass this issue?? I have been given the original seats 2.. thus have the airbags etc.. Is there a way to use VCDS (which I have) to code the module to think its a VRS??? Is it an easier job to fit the airbags into retro seats??? Or are there any other options ive overlooked??? Cheers. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  10. Oh adamal also the original can gateway taken out of car was coded with immobiliser in installation list.. does this not suggest there is one Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  11. Cheers guys... yeah i thought it would just be the antenna.. Er ok at risk of looking like an absolute muppet.. doesnt the vrs come with immobiliser standard.. I thought it was alarm that was opt extra Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
