I also am a member of the red stitching club. I'm starting to regret that choice, I think the grey stitching matches the race blue more.

To all of you who have been lucky enough to have taken delivery of your new octavia, how long did it take from it's confirmed build week to get to the dealer?

My VRS is week 41, it looks like mine could be shipped on the same ferry the way things are going.

My vrs has also been confirmed for next week. My dealer reckons it should be here in 3 weeks.

Race blue Vrs TDI estate manual with red stitching black pack, sunset glass, colour maxi dot, space saver spare wheel. Ordered 27th July build dates went from 40-42 and now at week 41. Changing from a 2002 BMW 320d so quite an upgrade.

I ordered mine on the same date. vrs tdi estate, but I have been told week 41. What was your provisional build week?

Import price for VRS TDI hatch manual from Northern Ireland works out at €27.214 based on 17% vrt that's a grand saving before any discount you should be able to negotiate at least another grand off.

Called SUK today also, and too was told my build date has moved from wk 40 to wk 42 with mid November delivery. Im starting to get just a wee bit frustrated at the thought of waiting that long. SWMBO is expecting twins in December so i guess it's no big deal as long as its delivered before then.

Happy days. I placed my order on the same date 27th July (vrs estate tdi) and was given a build date of week 40. I hope this means mine will be brought forward also. I haven't heard anything from the dealer yet, ill give them a ring in the morning for a progress report.

I ordered my vrs on the 27th of July and was gave a build date of week 40. Hopefully it will moved forward by a couple of weeks also. This seems to be the case with the majority of orders on here.

What date did you order it mate?

The day i went to the dealer in Lurgan Co. Armagh to have my first look at a vrs there was a guy from Co. Sligo placing an order for a new vrs estate with every conceivable extra. He told me he was saving a fortune buying his in the north even with the Vrt. Might be worth looking into.

It is true I'm afraid that said if you order a new estate now it probably wouldn't be delivered until November. I ordered my new vrs estate 3 weeks ago and have told by my dealer it won't be delivered until the second half of October

I ordered my vrs estate on 27th July, today I was given a build date of week 40. The dealer told me that most of the cars are usually built 2 weeks early unless there is a lot of optional extras added on. Here's hoping and waiting.........
