JackBlade, I quite fancy LED replacements for the bulbs underneath the wing mirrors. Did use the w5w t10 bulbs of the type described here ? If you're still offering instructions for dismantling etc that would be great.

143. Superb Elegance Estate 1.8 TSi in Regency Green bought pre-registered 7th August with 25 miles on the clock ! Changed 18" to 16" wheels - riding well AND should save a packet each time the 205/55R16 tyres are replaced. Fitted mud flaps and researching sillprotecters. Wonder if I'll ever find time / courage to replace the Columbus hard disk with an SDD before age and vibration kill it ! PS: chose Superb for easy rear seat access and leg room for occaisional disabled passenger.

Donlon, Good to see this issue getting some airtime ! I carry someone who wears orthopaedic boots with steel calipers up to the knee - REAL bovver boots for bodywork. A quick look around a while ago didn't find anything much. I considered moulding some custom (removable) GRP ones. Eventually decided to just have a long rubber mat under and at right angles to the foot-well mat. When loading it hangs over the sill. When travelling it is folded up and over the foot-well mat (under passengers fee). Pretty Heath Robinson I know but it keeps the paint on while I wait for the forum to turn up something better !
