@Aaron, it took about 3 goes and about 4 hours with a friend, would have been easier with more room around the car. Think its going to be done in the future but I had tiny tiny little pits in the roof so I would say if its a permiment feature flatten and fill then with something, even if it's plastidip before putting vinyl on. Some good news....... WINDOW IS FIXED! And as its so clean and new... can only mean possible tints in future but not sure if to go LIMO BLACK. I went LIMO in a SAXO and found it too dark inside, alot cooler temps but wasn't fun to drive in the night. You can also see my new rear badge, black and chrome all the way from Poland. It has been on the back for a few months now, took about 2 month to get to me.. I have a front one but won't fit it until I decide if I'm going to go black front or not. Now, fingers crossed I will have plenty of "interesting" photos this weekend

The back of the car (inside) is completely gutted too at the moment, for a reason.

No rust at all but one of the 4 strips removed a tiny tiny piece of paint, spent too long with the heat gun on that one area.

Under tray off, leaking from sump plug. New sump plug fitted by garage that did original service and so far its all ok. Rocker gasket also needs replacing in near future.

Hi all, I check my oil levels quite frequently and it has always been fine if not better since a full oil change done a month and half ago. Since then I have not topped up the oil at all. Today I looked under the car and noticed 2 drop of oil on the drive which has happened over the last 48hrs. I have not hit any bumps or anything to my knowledge, not lowered etc. There is an a4 sized collection of dry oil / damp patch if you can imagine it on the underside of the engine where all the plastic covers are, there is then a drop of oil about to fall in the centre... I have just cleaned it all up with some tissue see how long it takes for more to build up, but what could be the case of this? Should I be concerned as I have a 200 mile drive coming up on Monday... As I said, oil levels are perfect though.

Thank you Saving me some future hassle as current seats and door cards in mine are now too far gone with water damage.

Why not fit them? Not compatible?

What are the exact names of the seats to try and find some off ebay etc? Looking nice and are the new door cards an exact replacement? Mk4 golf or what?

Well... started the car Christmas morning for a longish drive home... and it has fixed it self! Good Skoda haha

Car has been fine, never had this before and drove to work fine this morning. Got in car tonight to go home, turned fans on and there is just a heavy humm noise, doesn't sound like it is coming directly from the glove box. Sound more central. Humm gets louder / faster if I turn fan speed up and doesn't alter if i change what fans to blow air from either. Any tips on what to check? Hoping it is a quick easy fix and no new parts. Thanks.

What specific paint did you use on the headlining? and for remaining rear pillars? Cheers

Did you paint the headlining, buy it like it is or just glue on some new fabric?

Looking nice Do the wind deflectors do anything? My doors always sound minutely open or windows slightly down but everything sat right... starting to do my head in and thought deflectors might be my only option?

Any ideas why when I have heating on full, I then go to adjust the temp to cold it stays at what ever temp I originally set it at? I can make it go cold if I turn the blower type around a bit and leave it on other settings for a couple of minutes, then go to another setting and it may be cold but most times it remains hot still.... It has a mind of it's own but I'm now getting sick of it during 3hr long drives. Any advice please?
