  1. Had a similar problem the code reader indicated an electrical disruption on my front passenger airbag, I knew what caused this, we moved the seat and disturbed the connector under the seat I advise against disconnecting/reconnecting as this could cause the airbag to deploy Just push the connector ends together. Clear the fault with the code reader and see if it has resolved the issue
  2. JUST HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH MY WIPERS; SO I DID AS GUZZIGEEZER, REMOVED THE RELAY A GAVE THE CONTACTS A GOOD OLD CLEAN, I USED ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL, A VANITY MIRROR & A TORCH WERE HANDY SAVES YOUR NECK! JOB DONE, GOOD POST GUZZIGEEZER
  3. THIS IS A COMMON FAULT, I HAVE HAD THREE FAIL, TWO REAR & FRONT PASSENGER. C'MON SKODA GET THIS SORTED!!
  4. Give this a try, put a test meter on the battery, get someone to start the car, check the voltage drop when cranking the motor if the voltage drops below 10 volts, the battery is duff also when the motor is running check the charging voltage, it should read over 14 volts, then put all high drain equipment on i.e. Heated window, heater fan, lights etc then check voltage again, if the drop is below 12 volts battery is duff
  5. I'm not sure, but if you have a variety of file types on a burnt CD, some CD players are unable to read the track information, thus rendering the CD unplayable. Try this website out, maybe they are able sort your problem? club.cdfreaks.com or download a free music converter dBpoweramp is excellent go to Download.com and check it out.
  6. Check the format, windows media player may be formatted to burn to .cda file some cd players will not recognise this file type you should be able to convert the file type, by going into media player properties and selecting .mp3 (not sure if this is possible with wmp11)
  7. HERE'S ANOTHER WEBSITE, YOU HAVE TO REGISTER ON THIS SITE Online spareparts catalogue for AUDI/Volkswagen/Skoda/Seat I HAVE NOT REGISTERED, SO NOT SURE ABOUT THE CONTENT

  10. Yes you are correct, the window is located in a metal rail (trough), if you are attempting to do the repair yourself, may i suggest that you locate the window in the rail slightly loose, when the window is fully closed this will ensure there is no excess load on the plastic mechanism. If the window closes and opens correctly, then secure the window in situ i am not aware of a sensor to regulate movement of the window? The price of a regulator is £40+, if possible ask a skoda tech for further info
  11. The plastic does over a time age, i have over a period of time had my two rear and front passenger door regulators fail. All windows dropped leaving the car unsecure, i managed to lift the windows using a metal coat hanger with a slight bend at one end, then secured using plastic wedges. It may well be that when they replaced your glass, they located in the guide too high, thus causing the plastic part to fail??
