better brakes for my Fun
keithIOW replied to grasscutter's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda Forman
i went down that route got the vented disks as advised sierra calipers drilled out caliper etc still not fit............had to have the disks turned down on a lathe the brakes are far better.................but not sure if it was worth all the hassle (doing it on my drive in the cold) i did see that some one used standard disks, but spent about £80 on some soopa doopa pads ... maybe another , much more straight forward option -

keithIOW replied to keithIOW's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda Forman
thank you Tom...... will check it out... it was noted on last MOT that the pads were low and disks were pitted and scored, so it i have to change them, i may aswell upgrade the whole thing.. so it will be fine with 15 inch wheels too thank you......... Keith -
is there a straight swap out there... one which needs no or little modifications or fabrications.. (as it would be done on my drive way, and i have not much access to fabrication gear) i am fairly competent with a set of spanners and mostly.......... will it make a noticeable difference thanks fellas.....Keith

fun fuel pump relay
keithIOW replied to keithIOW's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda Forman
cheers Tom can you help me with the location of the fuel pump relay and how to by pass it just to check it out please -
hello chaps... has any one any pics of where and which one is the fuel pump relay please i have a 99 , 1.6 petrol the car would not start the other day so called "recovery", matey said there was power to the fuel pump, so the pump looked like the problem ordered one, changed it today, and still the same.... turns over but no fuel flowing i checked the voltage, and there is NOT any electrickery getting to the pump (well 7.7v) the spade type fuses are fine, but do not seem to have power either, so i would like to try the fuel pump relay and does any one know which terminals i would have to connect, to by pass the relay thanks folks..................
