    well all sorted now.. bridged it still no fuel pump life
     
    dropped out the fuse board and opened it all up
    hmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting
     
    the "tracks" were a nice green colour, lose and even melted the plastic fuse board
     
    ordered a new second hand one (skoda dont make them any more),
    and the truck now lives
     
    problem solved....... cheers

    fuse box dried out nicely and i removed the fuse for the heated rear window (as there aint one)
