  1. I have been googling and searching the last week or so looking for any information on converting a mk2 Octavia to 4x4. I know that S3 8P running gear will be needed but I am trying to find out if anyone has actually looked underneath the car and compared the mounting points, fuel tank, access for the prop shaft etc. I have emailed carworks in Greece as they have already made one and I am waiting for a reply. Any information anyone can provide would be much appreciated. Ps I have no interest in changing my car for an S3/golf r I love my Octavia and will be keeping it for a long time hence looking at going down the 4x4 route. Plus I don't think anyone in the uk has built one yet.

  3. Is it easy enough to do using vcds? I can get hold of it from a friend. Thanks
  4. I have done a quick search but not been able to find anything. My steering control module failed a few weeks ago disabling my horn and throwing an air bag light on. I have just replace the old unit 5K0-953-569C with a brand new dealer supplied unit 5K0-953-569-AL my horn works and the air bag light is off but now I don't have cruise control. SKODA have said they would need to diagnose it for around £45 per half an hour to see what the issue is. Does anyone know if the CC needs to be recoded on to the new steering module? If so how do I do it, I have access to vcds via a friend. Any help is much appreciated as I am off the Nurburgring end of next week and would like CC for the drive there and back

  9. Just thought I would say hello. On Friday I picked up my 2011 octavia vrs in white. It came with some silly stickers on the doors and vrs stickers down the door. If anyone is familiar with the car I am interested to know the history of it. The reg is BF11 SOH.
