I have a basic fault reader, what are the better ones to have ?

The MFD in my FL vRS shows the speed in kph, how do i change this to show mph ?

My automatic FL vRS has developed a whine/moan once the car is in 6th gear and over 60mph, its intermittent. It's been in the garage and they have checked nothing is loose and they have no idea what it could be ... its getting booked into a VAG specialist for a diagnostic. Any ideas on what it could be ?

Someone has clipped the drivers side wing on my vRS and left a small scuff and knocked the head light from the bumper ... in terms of re-fixing is this a bumper off job ?

The key has 3 buttons ... however it was more so to be able to release the boot while the key was in the ignition and being in the car

Would it be possible to install a boot release into one of the spare buttons in a 2007 Pre-Fl vRS ?

I'll give that a try so I can see if I can match the sidelight bulbs to the colour of the HID

When I bought my Pre-FL vRS it had HID dipped beam already installed. Is there an easy way to identify what the colour temperature of the HID is ?

No I haven't but I can get it checked.

I've got one of those fitted but it seems to make the radio reception worse.

I purchased and installed a Skoda Octavia (2004 - 2011) Android 4.4 8" A6703 from Icebox Audio however the radio signal is very poor. Does the Pre-FL vRS require a signal booster ? And if so has anyone installed one with an android head unit which has improved the quality ?

I had a reversing camera installed at the weekend and it would seem that the inner boot trim has not been securely fixed back. How easy is this to re-fix ? There appears to be a number of metal clips, are these easily to replace and re-fit ? Is there any guides on this ?

Over the last couple of days it seems more difficult to put the vRS into gear, certainly reverse when the car is cold, once it's warmed up its not a problem. Is this a pre-cursor to anything ?
