  1. Me too, me too...Drivers side door posted please?
  2. Faboka Faboka Faboka...there I said it. Watch John turn up in a bit haha.
  3. Awesome. Nice work Jamie. I'll take that
  4. Group buy is a great shout! I'd be willing to hold out a little longer if we get the interest. You happy to organise one Thisday?
  5. No idea mate. Think ill start with the areas easily accessible and then see what difference it makes, then if required, move onto other tricky areas. There is an engine blanket that some brands do, not sure how useful it would be though.
  6. Nice one Jamie. Yeah I've seen that silent coat stuff on Amazon, gets great reviews, and its a lot cheaper. It's on the list. Will Google some more and let you know what I go with!
  7. Sounds like the way to go. Will give the fabia some love and get some ordered in. I've had the vrs for 2yrs now, originally bought it on a whim, cheap diesel commuter etc. Ive done 40k trouble free miles in it since. Absolutely loving it. Its definitely not the best built car, quality wise, so this mod should hopefully go a long way. Cheers guys.
  8. Nice one matt. Yes I've had a look at the link you provided. My vrs is indeed a daily commuter, so think this is a very useful mod. Here's hoping someone who's done it to their fabia comes along with their experiences too. Cheers.
  9. This was mentioned in another thread to help with road noise reduction. I've had a quick look online, and people generally find that it gives the car a more quality feel overall (I.e less tinny). I love the sound of that (;p). Has anyone used such products on their fabia? What did you use? And can you confirm the noise reduction and does the car feel less of an empty shell? Cheers guys.
  10. [quote name="Adz_VRS" post="4367067" timestamp I'm getting around 400-430 a tank and this is baring in mind I've still gotta keep my revs down as I'm running in the new cam shells. So that's not me heavy boosting or anything. Cheers guys If getting 400-430 miles per tank is a bad thing. Then mines got issues too! ;s
  11. Stock running temps is indeed around 90 degrees mate.
  12. How desperate are you in getting rid? I'd have them this weekend. But my driverside vrs seat has a tear on the bolster...let me know if you're interested.
  13. Yeah I've had mine back on for past few months. Used as daily commuter. No probs at all. Everyone loves the sound it makes when i give it some. Great mod for the price.
  14. B&Q do a roll for about £8. You'll be surprised how close it is to the vrs black. Did mine a while back, still holding up and got loads left!
  15. Has anyone used these guys before? Are the covers any good? Not heard of the site before, but have to admit they look good and decently priced as well!
  16. Message faboka on here. He will tailor the map to suit your car, possibly keep the torque low so your stock clutch should be fine. 55-60mpg is easy to achieve on motorways etc. In and around town, I hit 40-45mpg. Perfectly happy with that.
  17. I'd avoid supermarket fuel mate. You generally get what you pay for with that. Cheap leftover rubbish. BP and Shell aren't really that much dearer, especially if you consider the extra miles you can get and how kinder it is to the car. As said above, get some cleaner in the next time you fill up and replace the fuel filter. Hopefully saves the car from the scrapyard!
  18. No contest. Faboka. 100000000000x's over!
  19. Like Nafeun said above, I'd recommend this kit to wet sand and polish your existing lights; http://www.amazon.co.uk/3M-Headlight-Restoration-Discoloured-Headlights/dp/B0078IHJ1K Only 20 quid and they come up spanking!
