  1. Lucky for me the dealer I got mine from offered me my money back. A bit gutted to be honest as I loved the car but way too many problems with them!!
  2. Thanks george. The finance company have now been involved with the dealer I bought it from and he has 5 days to come up with a solution! Only made 3 payments on the vehicle but so glad I have not found all this out 12 months down the line. The finance company said they will get there specialist in if need be to find out when the car was remapped (they seem to think it will be stored on the ecu). Just a matter of waiting now prob a long time so looking at buying a run around till gets sorted.
  3. Wasn't bought within the skoda network was bought from a local dealer very unlucky
  4. Sounds all familer this. I bought a 2011 vrs with 21000 on the clock and found out that at 7000miles it had a new engine and 13000 miles a new gearbox. Don't think I would have bothered if I known all the problems with them. Oil was a problem with it was using nearly 2 litres per 500 miles and then had the vibration through the gearbox so off it went to skoda. Been told the twin clutch was going to replaced and a breather mod fitted to the engine so was booked in for the Monday just gone. Got a phone call on Wednesday and not good. The previous owner unknown to me had it remapped so warranty out the window and now in a right situation they either want around 2 grand off me for the work done (and it still won't be covered by skoda) or pay £400 to have the car put back together with the old parts and judder away with its self and drink oil like I drink lager. For now I have left it in pieces at skoda and going through the legal channels only had the car 11weeks!!! Sorry to whinge and go on
  5. Got to say the dealer has been fine with me at first it was the usual "it will be the software ) then he drove it and said defo a big fault. Just waiting on a phone call now for it to be sorted
  6. Looks like I'm gonna be having a second dsg box fitted in 22000 miles!! Just started getting a vibration changing from 1st to 2nd! Already had a box and an engine!! Kinda worrying
  7. Hi all Had mine for 4 weeks now and can honestly say quite impressed coming from an A3 diesel to a skoda. It's on the eibach springs which I think does make a great difference White wheels look good but a pain to keep clean! Overall good car and performance for the price, fuel economy reasonable for the power I average 33 round town but got 48 on a 60 mile run. Does seem to attract attention little boy racers in their corsa's and fiestas wanting to race it, I just let them go. Love it
  8. Oh dear looks like I left when the pics were taken :( never mind had to get back because do the shopping in the boot lol
  9. Not bothered about my reg so go for it!! Was a good laugh
  10. Defo coming over, the motor I recently bought is on this site so you might recognise it Looking forward to it
  11. Might have to have a nosey! Just bought my first skoda and I will be shopping in Asda at that time! (Coincidence??) Might just leave the misses to do the shopping
  12. S3 a bit different than my diesel lol
  13. My other half loved the audi and the news of me getting a skoda didn't go down to we'll. (many arguments) I pulled up in the skoda and the reaction I got was "DON'T think im driving that" Well just one little drive of it now she loves it and I don't see it!!!!!! I'm stuck with her yaris t-sport :(
