Okay, before I order anything I'm going to try and get it off the car one night this week and inspect. -

Damn, I must admit that is interesting. Did you replace the seals? J -

Does this require a seal kit also? I did think about it, but to be honest a remanufactured turbo is coming out around 250 delivered. If I pay 100 for the core and 30 for the seal kit, I'm not a million miles away. Time is my biggest problem. I am borrowing a car at the moment that needs to be given back ASAP. Best Regards J -
Good morning guys, My ASV requires a replacement turbo. It's leaking oil on high boost straight round the intercooler. Does anyone have any recommendations on, 1 - Where to get a recon turbo, on exchange basis. 2 - Where to get manifold gasket, turbo & down pipe gasket. I ideally need the parts ASAP but also don't want to pay through the nose. Thanks in advance Best Regards

Hello guys My asv has had sticky vane problems from a few months after buying the car. A 400 mile run at high speed would normally clear it for a month or so before it would return. 2 weeks ago the oil light came on. I topped up didn't think too much on it. Last Friday it came on, checked oil and nothing on the stick. Changed the oil last weekend and did the mr muscle fix. Car running lovely again. Checked oil yesterday morning and its at the minimum already. I pulled the boost right angle pipe and noticed some oil around the egr. I have also noticed a compressor surge sound since the fix, I am not putting this down to the fix as it seems to come and go prior to the fix. Doea any one have any suggestions?

That certainly would explain it! I have no idea if it was after market or not. It's a bloody tidy job if it was after market.

Hello guys, I tried the water trick, to only find it gushing through the head liner into the cab. I removed the internal trim around the sunroof. It has no drains. Anything that gets beyond the seal just comes straight into the cab. I checked my L&K and that does indeed have drains and a sealed area for the water to go.

Good bit of thinking

There is a frame in the way and I'm unable to see the holes. I need to get a piccy!

Hello guys! My good ladies 2004 MK1 Octavia sunroof has started leaking. I've had a look and I can't for the life of me see the drain points on the sunroof. I've had a good look through the search and only found reference to the "sunroof drains diagram" but not the actual diagram. Can anyone link me directly to it? Thank you in advance J

Ahh okay, so it amplifies the single coming into the aerial, I for some reason thought it was powering something on the aerial up stream. Thank you, James

Hello guys my good ladies elegance has had a sudden loss of radio signal. I bought a powered amplifier thing like what's available at halfords as it's an after market unit but it made no difference. I checked the voltage coming out of the blue lead on the unit and it measures 11v. However there is absolutely nothing coming out the top of the aerial amplifier thing. is there supposed to be before I go and buy another. Thank you in advance

How did it go? I got my cambelt done! I did it on my L&K! Had to take the bloody head light out to get the intercooler pipe and washer fluid bottle out!! It turned into a bit of a pig and some how took me 10 hours from start to finish! The Elegance I have was no where near as tricky for initial strip down. Getting the washer bottle out, even with the headlight out, was like trying to get a washing machine through a cat flap! J -
