  1. To be expected?! If it comes on mine, I'll be straight to the dealer with my angry face! Why do so many people on this forum think its okay to accept sub standard and poor workmanship?!
  2. Dealer rang today to say; Build Week 3. I asked if it was a status 20 but he didn't seem to understand what I meant! I said that, if that is definitely the build week and it takes x3 weeks to get to me, I would rather wait another x3 weeks for the "14" plate. I asked him to confirm the dates and whether me waiting another x3 weeks would alter my agreed trade-in value. I ordered week 33 so, assuming the car was delivered in week 5-6 then the car will have taken approx 24-25 weeks which is, obviously, just under x6 months. Intentionally there are no smilies in this post.
  3. My Nov 2003 DC5 Integra R came straight out of the Honda factory in Japan and took x8 weeks on the boat to get to me. In that time, I ordered many upgrades & mods. Within x7 days of receiving the keys, it was doing a track day at Cadwell Park. It was track days & mods including ECU, brakes, suspension and breathing for x3 years from new, serviced by the local Honda dealers whose staff looked forward to having it in. Sold it in a heartbeat with no problems at the end of x3 years ownership. If I choose to mod the VRS I am waiting for, I will. Yes it'll be on PCP but, IT IS ME who will pay for it, beginning and end, so IT'S MY CAR. I will do to it whatever I want. If you don't want to do anything to yours then don't bother commenting. We are told by the admins to bite our lips if we don't like other peoples comments, but with there being no dislike button what can we do? No malice is intended by my post in any way but, will people please get off Andrews back. He's trying to help those of us that are interested.
  4. Tummy is rumbling and I'm sat opposite Fat Heather from Eastenders, in a packed TGI Fridays waiting on their best burger 'n' chips! I'd be getting my coat, not hers.
  5. So you would not mind when the food you order at the restaurant takes longer than the estimated 45mins. No reasonable explanation as to why it is taking so long and all the other customers who arrived after you are already tucking in to the same and similar dishes. When you ask, you are fobbed off and they consider it rude when you keep asking as to why your meal is taking so long! Two hours later and you would still be sitting on your hands doing nothing to complain?
  6. You're right, everything is as clear as mud! I too get the feeling that, they aren't bothered either way. They should at least try to sound at least a bit sorry for the delays and the knock on effects. I need x4 four more new tyres that I shouldn't need to pay for now! I've already had to pay for tax, MOT and x3 year service. ~Not to mention all the grief I had from Santander over the PCP extension. My cars' status 10's have gone from 48 to 02 to 52 to 08!!! That sounds like the factory really know how to keep their house in order, not! I'm guessing we're not alone in this. The list of disgruntled non-owners will only grow! AAArrrrgh, where's me Citalopram?! P.S. The 52 was when the status 10 disappeared and Skoda UK spouted the x16 weeks from factory acceptance
  7. Ordered mine (spec in signature) 15th August 2013, "Accepted" by factory September 4th 2013, due to dealer quotas ( which wasn't explained at point of purchase ) Latest update from Skoda UK today: I'm looking at a build week of 08, February 17th 2014!!!! I am no longer excited by this car and I think Skoda as a whole are a complete joke!! P.S. I hope they are reading!
  8. That's pretty bad maths lol. Still, just under x6 months is still poor going :-(
  9. Christ-on-a-bike! You're right, I thought mine was bad, but they have really messed yours up! :|
  10. That's what I was thinking but, I was given the order number on the Monday of 19th Aug. I guess that, that is just a dealer and not a factory generated order number then ? :-( So nice of the dealer to inform me from the start - not! Unfortunately the salesman doesn't work for them any more, else I would've vented my spleen at him. Bah Humbug!!
  11. Latest update for mine is a joke! :-( Placed order on Thursday August 15th, processed on Monday Aug 19th, have only now been told that it was accepted at the factory on September 4th!! I am to expect delivery, the memo'd standard, x16 weeks from acceptance date! If you work that out, it will be delivered... …on Xmas Day!! It took x20 days for the factory to accept my order!!! WTF?!!!
  12. I was at the end of my Mazda6 Estates' PCP and found that the replacement Mazda6 Tourer was lacking in cabin storage and monthly payments would be far more expensive than previously. The best combo of pace, practicality, space and value for money was the Octy, so I ordered one. Still blimmin waiting though! Never had to wait so long for a factory order car! :-(
  13. Not strictly true as the variable floor is just as it says. It can be used in a variety of ways to suit your loading needs and can be taken out if you want to use the full loadspace. :-)
  14. Can I ask as to why you won't take the x7 day insurance?
