I picked up my official aftermarket spare wheel kit for my VRS today. Its identical to the BTO factory option (no surprises there) - wheel, toolkit and foam insert all installed perfectly. Job done. Better still, SUK provided it all gratis as goodwill. I don't have an official price but I would expect its around the £160 mark.
 
Credit where credit is due, the executive office customer support at SUK provide excellent customer service. Regular updates even if the news is 'there is no news'. It's such a shame it took an email to the CEO to engage with them as you can't get to them via the SUK Customer Services front door. 
 
My dealer has been fantastic working with SUK to help provide the solution. I highly recommend them. They are fully aware of how to obtain this solution should anyone else want to purchase it. PM me if you want further details.
