  1. Not sure about the styling? I think the Seat Ateca looks the best of the new crop of SUVs - but none seem to have the load space flexibility of the Yeti!
  2. I thought that the DC100 project was dropped a couple of years ago because of the amount of negative reaction from the market at that time. LR are being very tight lipped about the real defender replacement. Be careful when you read Autocar articles, sometimes they are several years old, but they pop up as new!

Ouch! ...but it goes to show how well designed and built Yeti's are - Interesting that the engine detached itself from the body!
  4. Looks like someone's been busy with photoshop on a picture of the new Fabia (and squished it up)!
  5. I too preferred the frog-eyes, but my order got changed to the FL. However a few months on and it's not really a major issue as the rest of the car (it's upright boxy shape and therefore better flexibility than those other 'coupe' SUV's) is so good.
  6. Black enough or too black - what do people think? (IMHO it looks stealthy, but you might just loose it in an unlit car park at night!)
  7. Get out of the way dear, I can't see the car (oops showing my age again)!
  8. Wonder if the UK will get it - and with the suggested 1.8 TSI with DSG???
  9. It seems a shame that so many car manufacturers place style over practicality these days - e.g. estates that don't have flat folding rear seats, and suv's with little useable space for carrying anything other than squishy bags!
  10. Had a similar experience at around the same mileage, thankfully the nail went through the tread so was able to have it repaired. But glad I had the spare as well!
  11. It's certainly not pretty, but at least it's not an SUV trying to look like a Coupe!
  12. Depends on personal preferences, driving style, annual mileage etc. IMHO you really need to try a car with DSG first, all the other considerations probably come after that. Personally I prefer the DSG.
  13. Yes idh2013, when we got ours around the new year the dealer said Skoda only gives them about ten days within which to register the car!
  14. If you aren't sure about the DSG, try to get a test drive in one first and make your own mind up - a ring around the local dealers may be able to locate one (even if it's on a used Yeti). We have had them on several VAG cars and are vey pleased with them - but I understand they aren't everyone's cup of tea!
