Call from my dealer tonight! Car is built and on it's way over!

I'm week 50, ordered 19th August

Hi All, As some of you may have read, I ordered a Citigo and an Octavia on 19th August, both standard spec elegance. Last week the Octavia jumped from week 44 to week 2 without any explanation, I even phoned SUK who asked me to get the retailer to call "retail support". This week I have been in and my week has moved back to 50 (still unconfirmed) but the dealer told me the delays across all Octavia orders is to do with a problem with the catches which release the back seats to fold down from the boot. They told me that all of the Octavia's on order were showing error against them and that the build weeks will be altered manually from the factory end until the issue is resolved. Has anyone else found this info out or been told anything different?

Congratulations, please post us some pics when it dries up. I'm just about ready to burst waiting for mine!

Mine is exactly the same, I ordered August 19th, told week 41 initially and now gone to 44. Also ordered a citigo which has been allocated week 48!

I've just turned 28 and ordered my Octavia Estate 1.6 Elegance Estate Candy White when I was 27! Although I am still waiting for delivery I think it is a pretty cool car!

I ordered my Elegance Estate mid Aug and have the build week confirmed as 41 the first week in October. Are those who have been waiting/ quoted 6 months have any options above standard spec? Apparently a sunroof or towbar create massive delays I was told.

Hi All, I am new to the forum and just thought I would join in. I have ordered a Octavia Estate 1.6 TDI Elegance candy white and a Citigo Elegance on the 12th August, so far I have been given the last week in October for delivery so about 12 weeks but I'm told it is likely to be sooner. Cars are both standard, no extras.
