  1. Thanks guys, I thought it should be something like that, but I can't find any details anywhere, and my usually helpful parts guy at Skoda couldn't help either. Anyone have an idea of parts number(s), or even just what they're called, so I can attempt to find replacements? Cheers!
  2. I'm not sure if that would be possible. The reg is on a panel attached to the door. There's no access to use adhesive. There's a hole in the window and a hole in the clip that line up, but I can't work out what goes in the whole or how it works? I've seen bolts mentioned a couple of times, but no further details! Skoda parts don't seem to know the answer either, and I can't see any clues in pictures or diagrams? How do people reattach a window to the mechanism? I'm absolutely stumped?
  3. Can anyone help? I've replaced my window and regulator (window smashed and broke reg too), now the window sits in the white plastic 'holders' on the reg, but just falls out if I try to move it up or down, as there's nothing holding it on. Any help greatly appreciated as I've got to drive through France next week, and the tolls will be a big pain if I can't lower the passenger window!
  4. I did plug in the new door as it was first, obviously. Could this have messed something up in the coding that now needds a reset?
  5. I did just plug the controller straight in, as the connectors were all the same - when people said the wiring was different, I thought I was OK as all the connections seemed to match up. i'll have a go with the old wiring and report back. Cheers!
  6. I was advised it would be because of the door controllers not matching. Luckily i saved the old controller - but when I plug it in, the rear door still won't lock. Any ideas?
  7. Can courier these if anyone wants them - should cost around £40.
  8. Right, last bump before ebay! Need these gone now!
  9. Still for sale, I wish this thread would notify me when someone replied! If interested please send a PM as it comes directly to my emails! Cheers!
  10. I have been away for a while, car is back up for sale!
  11. They're from my Octavia. Believe ET is 51, might be 54 though, not much difference but I will check this evening.
  12. Had these up for sale at the end of last year, but didn't end up selling them as have been abroad for a while. Back now, and would like to make some space in my garage ASAP! I'm located in East London/Essex, can also courier if needed. Set of 17" Skoda Pegasus alloys. 5x112 PCD. One has some curbing, other 3 are pretty much perfect. All 4 have tyres fitted, two are down to wear indicators, and the other two aren't far off; so take this sale as being for the wheels only! Can courier these for approx £40. £250 £200 £150
  13. The time has come to sell my Octavia, as I'm spending most of my time abroad at the moment, and no longer really need it. There are some minor issues that need sorting (see below), but these are very minor, and the car could happily be driven while these are sorted out gradually. If it doesn't sell straight away I will try and fix these but by bit and adjust the price accordingly, although I'd rather sell as is, as I'm away so much and just don't have the time. Skoda Octavia 4x4 - '07 plate 2.0TDI (DPF removed!) 6 speed manual 12 months MOT Tax until January Full Skoda service history, Haldex oil changed at correct intervals, etc. ~134,000 miles (I've pretty much only done motorway miles in this, as I have another car which I usually drive on short journeys, assured similar by previous owner too) DPF deleted - despite only doing motorway miles, the DPF still managed to fail, very common with the 2.0TDI. I have had it removed (still visually present, will pass MOT). Stage 1 remap by Shark. Mapped up to ~170bhp, power gains are obviously nice, but overall driveability was a priority, it's like driving a different car now. New front and rear discs and pads (OEM spec) all round ~7,000 miles ago. Nicely specced - Maxi dot, dual climate, 16" alloys w/nearly new tyres. Stream MP3 stereo, rear parking sensors, removeable tow bar (only been used for rear bike rack AFAIK). Bad bits: Lost book pack - Service history can be fully verified with Skoda. Rear wiper missing (pulled off by irate Frenchman). Slight dent in NS rear door pillar. Service now due. Negotiable extras: Thule Roof bars & Halfords roof box Winter wheels & tyres (shown in pictures) 17" Pegasus alloys Slightly repriced to reflect MOT, new tyres, windscreen, etc. Even better value now though - £3500
