  1. Tall and skinny.....who doesn't want to be that?!
  2. "INCAR SOUND AND VISION" 93 Highbury Rd BURWOOD 9889 8797. Sometimes the reverse camera doesnt engage when I select reverse, I have to re-select reverse quickly and its there. I find this really irksome. Im happy for you to see and hear the stereo if you are thinking of doing it, would be good to compare the sound to the factory unit. I live in Blackburn South, let me know.
  3. Mmmm interesting. I had the yellow light come on at 3,600 kms (dont know miles) stick showed very low Oil. Dont know how much I put in but it was substantial. Three days later my new car was on the back of a tow truck through Skoda Road Assist with an unrelated clutch malfuntion. While new clutch being fitted under warranty I asked for the oil level to be checked......they told me the oil sensor was faulty and would keep giving false readings so a new one was fitted... I should check the level and keep an eye on it.
  4. Oil sensor has been replaced under warranty. Skoda service said it was faulty and would have been giving false warnings?
  5. I have purchased and had fitted the Zenec to my Fabia VRS (2013), it has BT, USB, IPod, AM/FM, Sat Nav. I went without the CD/DVD as I wouldn't use them, this made the unit a little cheaper, however I did have a reversing camera fitted. I can confirm the rear parking sensors still work and beep, the camera combines with it and it's awesome. The SatNav has lots of warnings that annoy the hell out of you, so they have to be turned off, ie school Zones, railway crossings, speed limits, speed cameras. I'm still working on the settings to get exactly the sound I want, I've only had it a week. Oh and 7" screen. The backing light colours only come in Red and White, I have set on Red at the moment. Cost professionally installed in Melbourne Australia $1800. I was told this system is specifically targeted to VW owners, as it goes straight in after factory unit comes out. I was considering the top of the line Alpine system, however I was told the reversing sensors would not work with this system, that's the only reason I didn't get it.
  6. My oil warning light (pic of oil can) came up a few days ago when I started the car, it then went out. On the second day I noticed it I checked the oil level and it was waaaaaay down. I would have liked more of a heads up! This car is new and has only done 3,600km!
  7. Forty something...... love it, although today it went on a tow truck to the dealer, don't know what's wrong with it yet. DSG got stuck in second, couldn't select another gear, pulled over with a burning clutch smell. Only 3600kms on the clock.....oh dear, hope it's going to be okay, fingers crossed xx
  8. LGM & Gumby, you blokes are the best....... I did it! I like the little tweezer tool in the fuse box cover......If I had known that was there I would have used it to get the usb part out of the socket in the first place. New fuse is in and working. It was number 47 and blue which is a 15 amp. I also consulted the owners manual after I read your post, which mentioned that little tweezer tool and provides a list of the fuses and what they correpond to. Relieved and happy, many thanks :-)
  9. Thanks so much everyone. I'll have a look at fuse 47....all the blue ones. I'll let you know how I go :-)
  10. Be careful with the USB adaptors. I bought a good quality one, or so I thought. The bottom of it, that is the end that goes into the socket, UNSCREWS! With my pulling in and out of the socket, (because prior to reading this thread I thought the LED light might flatten the battery) the bottom contact point came unscrewed and stayed in the bottom of the socket. I tried getting it out (using a golf tee??? oh well it's all I had at the time) and the metal contact fell out of the screw in plastic piece through the socket into the consol. I managed to get out the plastic bit. The metal contact falling through the socket has connected with something and shorted the socket. It now does not work. I don't know if it will be a fuse? Or the socket needs to be replaced. My car only 4 weeks old :( I will probably ring dealer and see how much it will cost to fix. My car is a 2013 Fabia VRS.
  11. Hi, my Fabia vRS is also Corrida red. White roof and white wheels. I picked mine up off the showroom floor on Friday......are you loving it or what? Congratulations on your little beauty!
  12. I have my car and I love it. No regrets. I read that Fabia vRS was not being produced anymore on the Top Gear website.
  13. Hi everyone, picking up my brand new car today. Was really excited until I read last night that the vRS Fabia production is being killed.....Not that I can back out now..... I just need some affirmation from you vRS owners that I'm doing the right thing and I'll love it!
