HID H7 Kits for Fabia with Projector Headlights
Pd2 replied to Slotty's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
As these bulbs have a return wire/electrode from the tip of the bulb running down the side, when fitted it looked like a black line down the drivers side beam pattern. If I remember rightly I flipped the drivers side bulb round 180* when fitting. Was slightly harder to fit in with the bulb holder. Also mine being a diesel, having that filter behind the drivers headlight is a nightmare unless you have baby hands. A box of plasters is always handy! Apart from that, fitting is a doddle. -

There 8k He got them from euro car parts for £40. Still doing them. http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/car-accessories-products/lighting-accessories/xenon-conversion-kits/?971775285&0&cc5_774 They do have a 6k canbus free kit for about £88, but I never had any issues with the non canbus kit. (Dad had no idea what he was ordering I think!) Paul. -

My father bought me an hid kit for Christmas, he had the too long to return them for a different temperature so thought what the hey, fit them anyway. Looking directly at them they are quite blue, but light on the road is fairly white. The last pic shows the standard 507 next to the hid. I will look at changing them at some point for a lower temp but as I've never had complaints, pulls or flashes from others or police I'm in no rush. There still better than the standard H7s! Also, I'm not 17 or a chav of any sort! lol. -
If you can stretch the budget.... http://www.arnoldclark.com/used-cars/skoda/fabia/1.6-tdi-cr-monte-carlo-5dr/2013-(13)/ref/arnfy-u-5781/ Is this not a bit closer to home? 2013 spec with updated badges and steering wheel. I know this branch has about 6-7 montes in stock, got mine here a few months back. (I'm also not a big Arnold Clark fan but the guys have been good here). Paul.

That looks loads better! Do you have any other pictures from different angles? Something to show the cut out would be good. Is that just a tip or a back box? Paul.

I went with a mate to collect his black tech (1.2 tsi 105) on Saturday there. Maxi dot and esc included. Maxi dot is on all techs I believe.

Were looking for a Fabia 1.6TDI 105ps, can you help?
Pd2 replied to Andrew@DTUK's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Well, today I traveled down to DTUK and let Andrew and the team loose on the car. We went through and tested 'plenty' of maps/settings on the box till we were happy with the results and hopefully just a little tweaking here and there should finish it off. We started with crd2 common rail only sensor and ran a few different maps/settings but all we got were rattles, rattles and even more rattles! We then moved to crd-t common rail sensor and boost sensor and fairly quickly managed to reduce the rattles to almost nonexistent! So now I have a few maps to play with and do some long term testing with for DTUK. First impressions........ Very good, noticeable diffrence in acceleration in all gears but the main diffrence I found was in 3rd and 4th, it pulls really well and the power hardy tails off right up to the red line. Before the install i found myself changing gear around 4200-4400rpm as the power tails off. The turbo still kicks in around the 17-1900rpm with a bit more shove. On the motorway home I got to test 5th out quite a bit, top end acceleration from 60 through to about 90 has been improved so overtaking was a lot easier. So the 'bum dyno' approves but there are no figures yet. I'll be running the maps for some time and and my get a few proper dyno runs in within a few months. Andrew is also going to try and arrange a time where we can also use VAGCOM To try and gain someone information to hopefully perfect this. I'll be keeping DTUK up to date with my progress and hopefully will lead on to a product the good enough for the masses! lol. We also discovered the crd-t system can be fitted from just opening the bonnet! No need to jack up and remove the undertray, no need to worry about that dodgy jack dropping a the car on you! Cheers. Paul. -
Get them off! lol I know it not black but you get the idea.... Before: After:

Zouche, what outputs are on the rear of the swing? Cheers Paul.

I shall look into that over the next few days and report back. Cheers! Paul.

Not even had the car two months and the wife batters it up a kerb and take a chip out the drivers side alloy! Not chuffed in the slightest! Does anyone know the the paint code / colour for the alloys? Will need to touch it up till I can afford to refurb it..... Cheers!! Paul.

I'm assuming this is a black one, when my mate bought his last week we were told there's loads available for delivery in October. I would 'presume' stage forty might be near delivery in country or even ready for pick up at depot/harbour.
