  1. I'd read that there are different bluetooth modules availible for the swing, one which does just phone and another that does both phone and media. Is the phone prep that i've got one of these, or something else? I'm a bit confused why it has a media option if it can't actually be used. Can i phsically check which module i've got and swap it out for a better one? i would really rather not have to plug in a wire every time i get in the car In my 2003 audi tt i just have a module plugged into the CD changer port on the OEM head unit that gives me bluetooth phone calls, music, and allows me to skip track and answer the phone using the skip track buttons. Unless i need to see the screen for maps, i don't even take the phone out of my pocket. I know the swing doesn't have a changer port, but this is the kind of setup i'm looking for. Another alternative i've seen are bluetooth MDI modules, but i've seen no skoda specific ones. They all tend to say something along the lines of 'needs 3G/3G+, doesn't work with 2G' but i've no idea what this means. I would rather not swap the stereo out if i don't have to - an amundsen looks like it's going to set me back at least £175, and other than bluetooth i'd never use any of it's features
  2. Hi All Just bought a 2011 VRS with the swing stereo I can connect my phone to it, and the phone menu on the screen (maxi dot? the one in the cluster) has options for media, as does the voice assist thing, but i'm struggling to actually make it work The stereo doesn't have any options for bluetooth that i can see - just the radio, CD and aux. All i really want to be able to do is connect my phone to use Android Auto for audio output. Skipping tracks via the steering wheel controls and using it in phone mode would be nice but not essential
