2014 Skoda Fabia Mk2 1.6 TDI 105BHP 135,000 miles, time to call it quits?
Must be something about these and that milage. The wifes is 2013 of a similar milage and is now starting to have a number of problem after problem. First was the EGR which we got a permanent fix sorted on it, had potential oil pressure sensor issue, not we also have a failed injector.

Update the wife had done about 400 miles of driving since getting the car back and today she got a solid glow plug light and the car started running very rough. When I got in, I plugged vagcom in and got code P0203. So it looks like the blue smoke may have been a failing injector.

*Just an update, still not solved* Typical Friday 13th, took the little Fabia into the garage today and I followed the wife down, low & behold... no smoke. Garage said they would still investigate but they couldn't find anything other than a strong diesel smell. So I asked them to change the glowplugs anyway and... cylinder 4 got stuck so cars in for another week or 2 while they sort that out.

I started thinking glow plugs after doing a bit searching around on here, but I always thought blue smoke = burning oil/oil getting into combustion chamber 🤷♂️. I have the car booked into the garage on Friday but nothing comes to their mind either, I will mention the glow plugs to them but I will leave them to the garage (previous bad experience with a stubborn Mondeo 😅)

Its had oil & filter changed and the oil pump checked, which was found to be working. Its been driven fine since the start of January. Thanks for the reply 😊

Yeah oil and filter changed, the pump was also checked and found to be working. Garage put it down to sensor issue.

1.6tdi blue smoke until engine warms
The wifes car (fabia 1.6tdi cayc) has recently started giving off blue smoke after 3-5 mins of running from a cold start until the engine is warm. After the engine warms up there is no smoke, checked the dipstick and the oil level hasn't dropped dramatically. There is some smoke on idle but mainly when accelerating but like I say nothing when the engine is warm. Millage is 130000+ Am I right in thinking the could be valve stem seals and is it expensive?

Its a strange one that has us baffled I'm going to drop the sump between Christmas & new year make sure the pickup isn't blocked, put fresh oil in and new filter & then not sure where to go from there.

Just got the car recovered the guy from the AA hooked his scanner up it shows the dpf did do a regen and it's done 0 miles since. The oil shows no sign of dilution, He started it up and there was no oil pressure warning, we still didn't take the risk of driving it.

Dpf light & Oil Pressure Issue
The wifes Fabia monte carlo 1.6 cayc threw a dpf light today, she drove it for about 8 miles stuck in traffic on her way to try force a regen and then the light went out and she got the dreaded " Oil Pressure Switch Engine Off". I'm guessing the two are linked has anyone come across the same or similar issue and any solutions? The car has now been parked up and is awaiting recovery.
