  1. My 2011 Superb has a Swing stereo from the factory. If I'll buy a used headunit (Bolero or sat-nav) from a totalled car, does it need some kind of a coding?
  2. Has anyone chipped the 1.8TSI DSG? Any affects on the gearbox? Considering that those 7-speed DSG's will fail even in stock condition. MTM chip's 158kw/320nm is quite tempting...
  3. Bought mine being 25. Have had it for 1,5 years - keeping an eye on Superb II 2.0 TSI or Octavia RS ads. Need more age appropriate (faster) car.
  4. Rear footwell light comes with electric front seats. So if you want to use OEM parts, investigate some Elegance model seats.
  5. My friends Superb had a similar problem. Took the car to a heated parking lot and after a while handles started working again. Its too could in Baltics for Czech cars
  6. Skoda offers retrofit kit for fitting rear parking aid (BEA800002). Has anyone installed it? Does it display sensors information on the radio like factory fitted sensors? http://static3.nagi.ee/i/p/926/52/231632157e6063_l.jpg/1
  7. They will give bulb out errors without coding. Mine cost 68€.
  8. My car is registered in may 2011. So it probably has the same uncodeable BCM? I don't want to install resistors behind the bumper to lose the broken bulb warning.
  9. Found a webshop that offers supposedly OEM L&K taillights for 280€. Thats less than half the price my dealer offers. Does anyone know about this webshop? Is it trustworthy? Here's the link - http://www.cars-equipment.com/www/en/shop/skoda/oem-skoda-superb-2-led-tail/
  10. 2011 may registered. Standard equipment (Active/Comfort).
  11. Yeah and half the policecars are also Superb's (other half being Octavia).
  12. Installed VW OEM led licence plate lights. Part no. is 1K8943021 and its a plug and play retrofit. Got a blown bulb warning light also (need to disable the licence plate light check). Wanted OEM led lights to avoid unhealthy attention from police and during the MOT. Got the idea from here (includes pictures) - http://www.areavag.com/foro/showthread.php?27431-Leds-OEM-matr%EDcula-Passat-3c
  13. Don't bother. I removed the cover and there's no umbrella cilinder in the door card.
  14. My car has 16" wheels and if they would be 3mm closer to wheelarches it wouldn't make any difference.
