I have seen 500 but normally get around 400 doing my commute from Liverpool to London. Should never had sold the fabia vrs you have to drive to restrained to get good mileage.

I believe it should be called the rs as v only represents the accent above the s in skoda, and the term vrs is a uk mistake.

I want them wider cause i like the euro/porsche look the team dynamics alloys are not really dished but the wider ones have more presence , which looks cool to me.

Hi just got these from CRN Products only £160 for red stuff pads and front discs which i thought was good after looking at other brands, does anyone have experience of these? Also are the wear sensors only on the pads ?

you've probably done it but when i got my old polo lowered they forgot to tighten the top bolts once it had come off the jack had that caused it to clunk.

Have you tried looking at 205/40/17's i've been looking for new tyres too and found these to be even cheaper had a look on online and found 4 nankang ns 2's for £150 Not sure what peoples view is on nankangs but for £150 for 4, a worn or punctured tyre does seem so painful !!

Get a Fabia Vrs great fun and it was cheaper to insure than my "chav boi" saxo vtr (oh the shame) !

Hi I've got an 05 VRS Which i'm going to be owning for the next 4 years and i was thinking what people thought about servicing the car myself ie all the easier bits not belts or changing turbos!! I just don't think a 05 car in 2012 will be changed in value by home servicing + plus i'm tight!!!

Had it on my new shape Fabia just sprayed WD40 on to the moving parts of the seat which stopped it !

Does anyone know if like the fabia , you can lightly push the indicator stalk to make it come on for a few seconds rather than fully flicking it on then off . I just wanted to make sure mine isn't broken ? If this function doesn't exist could a newer arm and computer fiddle make it work? thanks Ant

Yeah i had one on my Fabia VRS good quailty and nice finish great sucky sound !!!

Anythings possible within the VAG parts bin i've read that a lot of people use the 6 speed diesel gearbox. check out VW tuners they've been sticking the 1.8T in everything from polos to mk1 golfs the latest issue of Performance VW has 3 cars all pushing 300bhp !!!!

I remember reading in VW mag that someone fitted a merc sprinter intercooler and said it was a lot cheaper, just an idea!

Hi , i've just swapped my fabia for an octavia vrs which i pick up in a week but i'm not sure if it has front fogs it says it has on the internet spec but looking at the pics i can't see any. can anyone tell me if they do !! sorry for being dim :confused:

Looks good !!! is it lowered 40mm ? have you got any pics from the front end ?
