I took my octavia to the dealers because of rough idling and was told that the crackshaft sensor was loose. so they fixed it but car starts the same problem after a week. Has anyone had this problem before. I want to hear your views. Thanks Gichy

yap mooring brakes alright - I just get them cleaned every 3000km. mooring gets crazy in dusty conditions. ...the write-up is awesome.

Have a 2001 Octavia 1.6 - noticed that the temperature gauge runs to the 100 mark then the fan kicks. when this happens guage then falls to 90. fan has been kicking in more often that before. what could be the problem... please help

my gear linkage rubber (oct 2003) bushes keep on wearing off. replaced 4 of them in the past 2-years.. just feel this is too much and somethings rearly wrong .. one out there with the same problem ... is there a clever way of avoiding wear and tear... is there any modifications..help please

There is a rattle btn the from pillar and bonnet which has something to do with the bonnet cabble

Does any one know how to replace the from left windshield trim on a 2001 octavia.. I don't seem to see any clips or screws to loosen the it.

Mine has stopped closing. I did manage to put out the whole assemble but still I can quite see why the cover does not hold shut.
