  1. Thanks, I spoke to the courier on Friday. They had both parcels but for some reason one wasn't loaded in to the van, they said should be here today hopefully. Probably wont get them on till next weekend aswell as new tyres now tho due to work. From the your review of the springs it sounds like the combination of the RARB and the springs together will be exactly how others have described on there cars. Can't wait!
  2. Yeah it's on, took about 40mins using trolley jack and axel stands, the bar was a bit difficult squeezing between the shocks. I used a flat piece of metal levering it and had a friend help push it into place. It's as simple as it looks. As for the improvements, first thing I did was go find a few roundabouts and a few twisty but unfortunately started to rain. Turning in the car feels so much more planted at the front, vast improvement on the understeer situation in the wet . Changing direction quickly through corners feels a lot more planted even in the wet. I had 1 little tail happy moment on a roundabout where the rear stepped out, I'm running 215/40/17's brand new prada spec 2's on the front and the back need changing so probably more to do with lack of tread and damp roads. Hopefully it dries up tomorrow, if it does ill let you know my findings. Im more than happy already tho.
  3. Looking good. Ordered mine the same time, my RARB turned up but not the springs ha typical... Mess up with the courier. Got the bar on today tho, you won't be disappointed! Seeing yours so low has made me a little impatient to get my springs suddenly. Should get a good comparison now tho, stock with RARB vs springs with RARB.
  4. Hey guys, new to the forum my names terry Recently went and got myself a fabia vrs 2 after driving a friends a few years ago. With living in London and being 22 insurance is pretty pricey for me, out of curiosity I did a quote and it was the cheapest car I could insure, result!. Headed to my skoda dealer and ended up buying the car. Had the car a few months now and the mod bug has already set in Mods to date, Wheel refurb ( something a bit different to the norm), a friend owns a wheel refurb company and does some panel spraying to so he's polished up the car whilst doing the wheels. Also having the brake discs around the hubs where they rust sprayed black, a little anal but it ruins the look of the wheels haha. Having something done to the grill instead of spraying or wrapping, hopefully comes out well. 2 New prada spec 2's in 215/40/17's (2more on the way) Forge spacer (most likely be coming back off, becomes slightly annoying). Heko wind deflectors all round De-badged the rear Within a few hours of signing up to the forum I came across a group buy thread from AKS (very helpful on the phone) on h&r products, The gap between the wheel and arch was huge as you know so took advantage of the savings, springs and RARB were ordered last night My cousin works for GAP security and has been looking into a CANBUS alarm for the car which will hopefully have remote start, turbo timer, shock sensor, proximity sensor, tilt and motion sensor. Ill post back in the future if its possible with info about it. Enjoying the car a lot, very under estimated by a lot of people in bigger performance cars, a few upset faces so far to lol. Have quite a few plans for the future. Hopefully the handling will be sorted, car looking how i want as well so I think a trip to a tuner will be on the cards soon to, most likely APR as they've been building the stage lll turbo kit on my friend Jason's TTRS and I've seen a lot of good reports from threads on them. Hopefully will upload some pics soon once things are fitted and finished
  5. Hey guys new to the forum. I'm the other member, rang up and purchased lowering springs and RARB for my fabia vrs 2. AKS were very helpful on the phone. Hoping they turn up soon, can't wait to loose the huge gap in the arches
