  1. 64 plate 170bhp 4x4..Ebay says it fits..but I'll check with the sellers first.
  2. And there it is....thanks a bunch.....you lot are skoda wizards! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381737970606
  3. yep, I think the last three posts are spot on....I'll check if the washers still work tomorrow. it's cold dark and raining out there now. thanks.......this could be more expensive then I first thought!
  4. Now that's a good idea...however I don't want to risk breaking the snaps...it is a lease car and I doubt they are supposed to be removable.
  5. well yes...I would like to avoid taking a day out to drive to a dealer & show it in person...I was hoping for a part code and then I can order it via phone or buy it on eBay etc.....perhaps I'll just email the photo to a dealer if nobody on here can help.
  6. Hi all, Someone bumped my parked L&K yeti last night and didn't tell me...not much damage to mine though, mostly blue paint to wipe off from the offending car. However one item that is missing is this front blanking pate, does anyone know the part number or perhaps a link where I can order a new one? Thanks
  7. Hmmm...leads me to wonder what the Hotel Valet parker was doing to require it to need resetting....getting his hand stuck in a closing window for instance. Anyway thanks for the help all sorted now!
  8. Great thanks chaps! I will try it tomorrow...its too dark & cold to go outside now.
  9. Sorry I'm a little dim...these one liners are not making much sense to me!
  10. Yes its my home parking spot, so quite a consistent repeatable manoeuvre.
  11. Well I am at 12,000 miles now and had it for a year. I`m still chuffed with it. Average mpg has increased slightly & settled at 47mpg, about 1000 miles ago. No big issues to mention, although a minor annoyance is the automatic parking isnt as accurate as it used to be. It seems to be random on a positive detection on a space and parks a bit too close to the kerb....perhaps on my first service this can be resolved, however the 1st service is not due until 18K! which is quite a long time away I thought.
  12. Hi all, I am hoping someone can solve this annoying niggle that has occurred? I stayed in a rather nice Hilton Hotel in Cardiff the other weekend and my car was Valet parked. Ever since I got it back from the hotel, my side mirrors do not automatically fold away when I hold down my door lock keyfob. What could of changed? I have set the car to factory settings but no difference! I expect it is something simple to reset that I have overlooked? Thanks
  13. Oh sorry Vala, I missed this early post of yours. Ill do £60 posted.
  14. Welcome! Out of interest, how much do you expect to save with this change?
  15. Yes, as far as I can tell, they have all the skoda markings & logos
  16. HI All, Selling these roof bars which came off my wifes Skoda roomster 3 2007 1.6, which is now sold. As you can see from my photos, they are specifically for the Octavia MK2. Comes with 2 x keys. I have never used them, but I bought my wifes roomster second hand, so I cannot comment on how much use they have seen. They do have the odd cosmetic scratch & they do show signs of some wear. Looking for £50 collection, no offers.
  17. Im not there yet, a few more years of ownership & I probably wont care...in the meantime here is a better one!
  18. I would never of figured that out for the sat nav!
  19. Yep thanks chaps, for some reason I thought this was just a speed setting & it was not on automatic.
  20. I have had it now for 1300 miles. and love it The good things Love the look, the brown leather seats, black colour & the L&K wheels, the electric sunroof is great...so much light. I am also liking the park assist...parks better then me! The front lights are awesome, I love the way they go through an alignment routine on startup, it does get attention at night. The ride is very smooth, not much wind noise at high speeds which is a nice surprise, love the power too. What I am not missing Cant say I am missing the lack of electric adjustable seats at all, I am perfectly happy with the manual adjustment (Based on some early recommendations) I am not missing an MDI port either. The SD card, hard drive & excellent bluetooth are all more then meets my requirements. My only minor quibble The media centre touchscreen is a bit slow to respond & clunky, it feels like a 2nd generation iphone,I suppose the technology just does not get updated as fast as our phones, mind you my wifes new Nissan note has a better touch screen for navigation! And a few questions 1 - Perhaps silly questions, but I have not found the solution yet! Does anyone know how to turn the automatic wipers on? The manual says pull the stalk, however this only releases a jet of water & a few strokes of the wipers for a few seconds, the wipers stay on manual. 2 - How do you turn off the radio or music when the sat nav is running? Here it is finally! and in need of a wash too.
