Mine should be built this week as well and should be available to pick up late January. Ordered September 4th so it will be nearly 5 months but the excitement is picking up again!

Something is really wrong there. Mine got pushed back another month yesterday and they don't even have a real excuse this time. Order September 4th, now looking at end of January. This is 5months total now if it doesn't get pushed back again. I ordered 2.0TDI Elegance with a few extras and none of the problematic ones.

Got something similar between the lines from my dealer today. It seams that the dates are being communicated between the dealer, importer and the factory without the ordering system this days. I ordered September 4th, still no official date but the dealer is confident that it will be build week 2. Will see.

Lucky you! I had provisional build 43 (ordered September 4th) but went off the system more than a month ago and no date since. Dealer guesses early January but I am beginning to doubt it.

They are required by law for xenons. Nothing to do with your visibility but something about blinding oncoming traffic. Found this somewhere: "This is because muddy/dirty/salty headlight lenses can cause a glare to oncoming drivers."

Everything I have heard so far about the factory sport suspension was extremely negative. Even my dealer advised me against it. I have only driven one that already had 18.000km on it and I found it manageable so wouldn't know if it actaully loosens up but if my car behaves similarly after 15.000km I'll be happy.

Actually I completely agree. I have no problems with the factory fitted ones but would rather go for KW or Eibach but am not sure what does getting it "approved" actually mean. Will probably go with the factory ones for start as I can order them with XDS and then change to something else if the ride is no good as OP suggests.

Might be, but let say your airbag misfires and causes injuries or even an accident. According to the manual you will have tough time proving that faulty sensor and not your modified suspension caused it.

Was thinking of installing these myself when mine arrives but read this today in the owner's manual: ? A change to the vehicle's wheel suspension, including the use of non-ap- proved wheels and tire combinations, can alter the functioning of the airbag system - risk of accident and fatal injury!
