  7. Hi all, I have had the Octy Spiders 17" (powdercoated white) on my Red Fabia for a while now, they look awesome tbh but ive got bored of them now and fancy a change, so I have recently bought some standard 16" which I was gonna get powdercoated graphite/anthracite. But...... .....My problem is that I have seen many fabias on here with the spiders in graphite and they look well. But I havent seen any on a red fabia, Only seen them on the SE and black fabia which appears to be the most common to have them. Has anyone got any pictures of their RED FABIA VRS MK1 with the standard 16" or the spiders 17" in graphite/anthracite, so I can make my mind up please!!!!!! Also comments welcome, what wheels do u think look best on the red fabia?
  8. I like ur style. Im not looking to change either, just thought id try and get abit of a discussion going I love saloon cars especially the 5 series e60/61, not only the perfect size, I have drove 525d and 530d and from my experience they are the comfiest, quickest, most finest looking beemers out there (i have also drove various e46 models, X5 E70,and 730d) Id love to own one, one day! Turbocharged petrol... BMW 535i E60 would be a LOT of fun (insurance would be a killer though ) Very quick car.
  9. As titled, anyone? BMW 535i E60 for me........... .......I wish!
  10. Sorry, personally no I dont think its worth it. Yes true, the air we breathe is made up of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and a few other elements. To get the so called benefits for tyres, nitrogen needs to be at least 95% pure, the only ways to do this would be to add an extra 10-15% nitrogen to get rid of as much oxygen as possible or unless the dealer used a vac pump to remove air from the tyre before filling with OFN. As mentioned, based on cost, performance "benefit" etc etc, I personally wouldn't recommend, its a waste of money
  11. As mentioned, nitrogen molecules are larger than oxygen molecules this resulting in a slower rate of pressure loss, also less corrosion as there is no moisture is pure nitrogen
  12. Shame ur selling mate. Another fine looking red fabia there, also a very good price for age, mileage, condition etc looks very clean. GLWTS
  13. Welcome to briskoda! Once u start with the mods, its hard to stop spending money! Definitely worth it though Enjoy JOSH
  14. Hi Richard, If its losing its charge after 6 weeks, the leak cant be that big considering the total charge is probably around 500grams?(ish) I am an air-conditioning/refrigeration engineer and would recommend u try a product called "super seal" its for small refrigerant leaks on smaller refrigeration systems which will more than likely run on the same refrigerant as your cars A/C (r134a)?? Im 95% certain this would work. The downfall is, a garage would not be able 2 do this as specialist R/AC tools are required. If u was more local, Id be happy 2 help. Might be worth having a look if theres any one man band/self-employed mobile engineers close-by who will take cash. I wouldnt go 2 a company direct as they will charge a fortune!! If u want any advice, feel free 2 ask. Hope this helps. Josh
  15. I thought my clutch was slipping as mine was doing the exact same thing, then my boost pipe popped off, I then repaired & since its not happened (fingers crossed!) I put mine down to a boost leak?
  16. Very nice mate, nice colour too haha! May I ask where u got the 312mm brake upgrade kit from? Josh
  17. sepulchrave - How about u read DanHam's build thread, that will change ur mind
  18. It depends who the buyer is. Ive seen them go on eBay for around £5k with similar mods, MORE miles, and not as presentable, well built/looked after. After all u get what u paid for
