Nice work. Would be great if the USB connected to the radio for playing music without having to connect the PID for those short local trips.

My Nexus 5 seems to work ok with my Garmin. ...except that it doesn't seem to ring when someone is calling, radio just goes quiet and caller displays on PID which I can then answer and all works fine. I may just need to turn up the volume for the ringer though.

I got a Garmin one from Halfrauds. Fits perfect. Cost about a tenner or summat.

Just paid for Freshmaps using the discount code. It's giving me Q1, 2, 3, 4 2013 map updates. Do I need to update each one from Q1 to Q4 or can I go direct to Q4?

Well I picked it up today. Just took 6 months. Although they delayed it a week or so to get the new reg. Done 8 miles in it. So far so good. Photo to follow once I find somewhere to host it.

I'm almost certainly going to be ordering one of these. Coming from an S3 Mini. I feel I'm now ready for a bigger screen. Plus I keep running out of memory but don't want to route the phone as it then wont work with the Barclays Bank app. What's the view on the best kind of case to get? What's the best deal on the little plastic screen protectors?

I do a lot of riding and shall be using the car to transport the bike. thought long about the tow bar option but decided that the car is so narrow the bike would be extending a long way either side. Too much risk from oncoming cars knocking the bike off on narrow roads in my opinion. I shall get the VAG roof bars as they look better when fitted, than the Thule, as the corners are rounded off nicely. I shall get the Thule bike carrier however.

Been to Aosta many times. Pila/Aosta is my favourite mountain bike resort.

Cheap running costs, cheap insurance, what appears to be a quality build. Ran a VW transporter before this so coming down a bit in size. Shall just have to put my mountain bike on the roof or take the front wheel off instead.

They threw in a boot liner FOC Just need to wait 12 weeks or so for it to arrive...
