This is the second diesel I've had and much quiter than my old mondeo ST tdci. I'm really happy with the car and can't fault it, I quess I don't really notice the engine noise anymore, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with it. Anyway the dealer has a transport schedule, it tells them what cars they have coming in on what day, think I picked mine up two days after it arrived at dealers.

My dealer told me when the transporter was due at the showroom, you could ask?

Love my VRS Tdi, no problems so far. May go for a Tsi when my PCP is up.... Depending on what deals they have on.

I'm sure SUK will confirm if they was orderd/factory installed by your VIN number........ Dealer is a bit naughty if they have done it there.

I'm sure when i reach the age of 70 I will need all the help and technology to keep me on the road, front assist and park assist would be top of the list. A friend has a golf with front assist on and he loves it. I debated over that option when I placed my order and decided I couldn't justify the need for it and the cost. Let us know how you get on with it when the motor arrives.

You think that's bad, wait until you get your wing mirrors full of water after washing and waxing. Drive down the road and it's emptying all down the side of your clean car..... My doors also fill with water, only with really heavy rain tho.... It is annoying I must admit. Let us know if you find a solution.

I've just taken some one to court and won, it's similar to what's been said on this thread. I won on fundamental breach of contract in small claims court, had to travel to Wales from cambridge to appear in court..... Nightmare! The defendant is still refusing to pay so I'm issuing a high court writ next week and if that don't work I'll be applying to bankrupt the defendant. I still have the option of getting police involved as its classed as Fraud by misrepresenting the item I purchased. The judge said the police have to get involved as its fraud no matter what's been brought or sold.

I've pulled the rear center arm rest down and opend the load hach and that let's the Bass flow through a bit better, it's definitely improved the lower bass tones.

Yes they upgrade all speakers to the canton brand, with a centre speaker and a sub. They take some running in, worth the money in my opinion!

£180 seems a lot and I've head so many stories about the pack not being applied properly by the dealers. I purchased a life shine kit from ebay and spent a few hours one Saturday morning doing it. I was nervous about doing it but there's a few videos on YouTube showing how it's done and the manufactures instructions were pretty good. What ever you decide to do enjoy the car!

I got my 30 pin lead with my car (some didn't) I have a iPhone 5c so I purchased the apple lightning to 30pin adaptor, it worked fine but I didn't get any album art work. Managed to get a mitsumi MDI lightning cable from ebay for £39 (Audi branded) and it works fine with album artwork, I find it makes my canton sound system sound a bit better too. My old lead and adaptor is on ebay at the moment.
