the same has happened with planet rock, gone onto sdl, with a lot more drop outs, but it may be temporary as the system gets fully up and running, but i have lost the planet rock icon,

tHe spare wheel is money well spent, the can of gunge wont fix a blowout or a damaged rim if you hit one of our country'wonderfulpot holes,

There are no issues with insuring a pch car,i have a vrs tdi, my insurance company said as long as the lease period is greater than 12months, the total cost of ownership for me for 2years is just over £6300, i put 75 quid away in an isa every month, incase I smash the milage allowance by 10k miles, I also put 3k in the isa which was the remainder of my deposit that I had needed to do a pcp, also the monthly rentals are lower, but as said the car is not mine, and it needs to be looked after, but on balance im paying less than 7k for 2years motoring, and not near 26k which it probably be worth 13k in 2years, its just what suits you best

VRs Tdi slow off the line?
cortina63 replied to andyb_sv's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
hOw is it just trim? bOth are identical suspension and steeringwise, the two pipes exhaust on the tsi is just looks, as it tees off near the fuel tank, does not add to its performance in the way a twin pipe does on a v block engine, yes the tdi is slower, but are both vrs',both have pros n cons, a true performance petrol engined car would leave both standing like a sack of sh 1te, -
vRS TDi recall campaign - boost sensor
cortina63 replied to fewie's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Checked with dealers today regarding my tdi vrs, its a june built my16, there is no recall/ service campaign associated with my chassis number, so hopefully mine will be fine -
Repairing stone chips with paint kit
cortina63 replied to Bowiesst's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Iv always found rather than using the brush in the cap, use a cocktail stick with a tiny drop of paint on it, dab it in the centre of the chip and carefully move it around to fill the chip, leave to dry then if the chip is covered, repeat with the clear coat in the same way, this time repeating the process till the clear coat is flush with the factory paint, leave to harden then carefully t cut it and polish, its a bit time consuming but gives a neater job than dabing the brush, -
the engines are not new, just remapped, think the side profile of the spaceback is neither classic or timeless as they put it
