  1. What the young aussie says about fm, am. is true, being a c.b fanatic the am signal is very powerfull against the f.m band, hence all the cheap mobile c.bs available here are on the f.m band. i.e a very short range, approx. only 15miles away, compared with c.b on a.m band approx. 40-50miles away. The good ol guverment band mobile cb on am, they were supposed to interfear with peoples tvs.
  2. I use the Halfords dog guard just clamps round two rear headrest bars don't even fit the extention bars supplied its long enough already.
  3. The only noise from my 1.25 is when traveling with the rear windows down,(with the mutt in the rear) quite annoying booming noise.
  4. Being now a retired motorcycle mechanic of 41yrs in the trade, my past dislike with Ducati m/c belts was the very short life thay have, i.e most models the belts must be changed every 24months or 12,000 miles, ducatis have 2 of these fitted. The go faster ducati R models to be changed every year or 12,000 regardless of time or mileage. I knew of a customer who bought a s/h model from fleebay, rode it home around 100 miles ok, left to go to work the following morning, heard a slight noise from the motor and very redused power, A.A relayed the bike into my workshop, a strip down then discovered 1 snapped belt on the rear cylinder, 2 bent valves and a damaged valve seat. Going through the service histoy of this bike, belts had been replaced 3yrs before but had only covered around 3,500 miles, standing and old age is the killer of belts.. But on the subject of cam chains, no manufactor has yet to invent a 100% reliable tensioner system, being it manuael,or oilpressure feed system. I know this has nothing to do with yetis but the design system is the same. To belt up or get chained up.
  5. I will be p/ex my yeti ts1.25 with the spare wheel kit removed from my car to the next, same model only I require d.s.g. Do I have to swap the false floor with the other car or are they the same?
  6. Still using my trusty 4yr old Samsung galaxy ace on my 63plate works fine, paired first time. cheap on flee-bay.
  7. If it is, then put my name down, I want one, this time with d.s.g in white..
  8. Tell the money grabbing sky folk, you aint got a job now,, and you cant afford it anymore, they are loosing a lot of customers already, they will cut your rip off bill by around 25% for approx. 6months, then do it again. But I have b.t sports free with their phone line, more footy next year (from sky making sky sports left whit nought.) I threatened to leave last year due to not updating my box, and got a free skyxhd box with Bluetooth free of charge and half price bill till around sept this year.
  9. Yes I to find the brake peddle a wee to high, don't suppose theres any adjustment thingy lurking around the peddle.
  10. Yes I found out the hard way, by driving to very wet Maidstone dvla office to put my retension cert plate on the new yeti, whilst waiting for it to stop chucking it down, walking by me was a very rare and wet female traffic warden, who said don't bother to feed the meter, that office has been closed since November.. Go on line to dvla look at list of car tax etc Each dept now has different post codes for each subject. just send all ness paperwork to them, done. My new log book complete with my reg on took around 1 week, tax arrived week later. But when log book came back, there were not any instructions has when I could put my plate on? but what the heck, on it went.

    Beware!

And don't do what I did last week with my 6 week old yeti, lock the doors with your dog in the back, unless you wanted to hear your alarm and flashers going off in sainsburys car park.!!
  14. Orderd my yeti 1.2 se+ in muckyvarno on march 1st had it delivered at home here in sunny Folkestone on oct 9th, was told this was on the final production run of the se+.
