Hi just wondering if someone can help! My radio is flashing safe when i turn it on, the code is on the side of the radio and i know you have to enter the code...........but how do i get it to come up saying 0000 so i can enter the code!! It is just flashing safe and wont let me do anything . Thanks

Hi ho just read your post and when i apply the rear washer the water is running out behind the rear wheel on passenger side, can you tell me if pipe is disconnected above the wheel or is it in the boot door? if its above the rear wheel how do you get at it as the liner is in the way? sorry for being so dopey lol not very technically minded!

Right after a lot of hoking about today I have discovered that that when i apply the rear washer the water is running down the back of the passenger side wheel arch! Does this mean the pipe is disconnected inside the boot door.................if so can someone talk me through how to fix it thanks in advance !

oh my rear window washer isnt working just realised the other day, its a fabia vrs.............do i have to try all of the above, or what should i do first, it all sounds a bit complicated lol.

I have these fog lights on my fabia vrs or they look very similar, I cant seem to find a drivers side one anywhere, when you type in vrs front fog light on ebay a different one comes up,. I saw one similar to this and the guy wouldnt sell me it as he said it was of a Lupo? Can anyone shed any light on this for me boom boom!!

Im just wondering though why I cant post in the ask a Tec part or why I cant sell an item......I have a 6 disc changer here with bracket which my fiance bought me for my fabia and it seems like too much hastle for me, I was gonna ask if anyone wants to buy it and the lead and also if someone can advise me which lead I need to buy to be able to use my mp3 player with the symphony instead? ta in advance x

No its the plastic inner guard protector ............... mines cracked. The bit that goes in round the inside of the wheel arch.

Hmmmmm lol sounds like a whole lot of hastle, to be honest I think id be better with an mp3 lead if that is possible, there are a few on ebay but seem a bit pricey at almost 50 quid!!! I was wondering it if was for a fabia, I dont like the idea of taking the seat apart mite stick it back on ebay or if anyone is interested speak now lol..................Thanks for your help btw !!

Hello again, I have another question. I wanted to fit a cd changer to my 2004 VRS and it doesn't seem as straightforward as I thought and I thought someone on here could help. I bought the changer from ebay and as you can see it has the big bracket still fitted. I assumed it'd fit below the seat but no! What I need to know is can I fit it under the seat or do I need to remove/replace the box under the seat? On the other hand if I go to fit it in the boot where should it be fitted? I apologise for being a bit vague! I bought a cable to connect it to my radio and I assume regardless of where I fit the changer it's just a matter of running the cable up the n/s sill under the carpet? If anyone has done this and could help me with any info I'd be very pleased! Thank you!

Hi ho! Just had to register and thank whoever it was put up the post about their fuel cap not closing and showing how to rectify this!! I just bought a Skoda Fabia VRS 2004 after having driven VW most of my life. So far so good! Myself and my fiance have quite a few VW's including a mk 1 golf, 2 mk2 golfs , a mk 2 polo various beetles including a 1967 one and a 1968 vw westfalia camper van! But I have to say the skoda seems good although I have only had it a few days! The fuel cap wouldnt close and I googled it and ended up here and was able to fix it myself even though im a female lol. The other problem with my fabia is that the drivers side black plastic grille which holds the red surround of the fog light is broken........anyone know where I would get one? There is one on ebay but its 30 quid which seems a bit steep lol................ anyway hello again must get tea on chat soon!!!!!
