Superb’s available to view at the following dealers
DaleW replied to Gizmo's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
When I was at the dealer launch in Sardinia the exact words of SKODA UK "When these cars hit the dealers, dont hide them away, get them out on the road" -

A bit of old engine oil, a paintbrush & a rag to wipe off any excess. Lasts ages!

Controversial post; None of us know the background of the driver, he could of been a student studying hard with good results with a good future ahead of him that was just unaware of what damage a modern performance car can cause. If thats the case then would 15 years plus inside make him a better person? Or would it make him bitter and likely to re-offend? Stuff like this goes on all the time, where real, proven, criminals hire performance and even supercars using stolen details and seriously injur themselves and others, the only difference is that this particular case has made headlines. There was a case local to me where someone rented an M3 and put a mother and child in intensive care following an acident yet it barely made it past the local papers?

VRS TDi poor starting loss of power ?

Me & My friends all fiddle around with our cars and I dread to think how much we've spent between us. But as others have said its a hobby and I love it, having something that turns heads and really provokes a reaction. The financials do pop in to my head every now & then but always my mind flashes back to last summer when we all convoyed to a show and we were going along the M1 at around 6am as the sun was rising over 15 of our own creations and you cannot put a price on that. Sorry to sound oh so cliché

Use the trip computer to activate BT audio if that doesnt work then start playing music when connected to BT then press media on your stereo and it should give you BT-AUDIO as an option

Depends on what i'm driving but usually Kiss Fm or Capital xtra. If im in my own car my HDD contains everything from Electric Light Orcestra to Wiz Khalifa

Im assuming you traded it in at your local dealer? most dealerships operate a 90day stock policy so if the car doesnt sell within 90 days it goes to trade auction. If its Jardines then I imagine it will have sent to British Car Auctions. I hope that answers your question

DRIVING IN FRANCE: SATNAVS, SPEED CAMERAS AND BREATHTESTS ETC

I bet you're a barrel of laughs on a night out -
I don't understand peoples problem with cars looking similar? I agree with DS4/Corsa similarity but I'm sure it will drive completely differently to both cars, which is what its all about isnt it?

Is there something wrong with me? I'm 20 years old and if you offered me the keys to all of those I'd take the 850R!

I forgot this thread was here, my car (pictures on prev. page) has 20" and Air suspension and fast cornering and driving are not an issue. I have good tyres fitted and my air suspension have Bilstein shocks with firestone bags, I might be wrong but im fairly sure that an airbag is far stiffer than a coil spring? As for the " XXX spends trilions on designing that" arguement, You're quite right. But different types of components serve different purposes. For example Coilovers lower the car to give a better a centre of gravity and stiffen the chassis to seriously reduce body roll, perfect for if youre trying to upgrade your handling and improve the look of your car. But do you think Margret from no.64 cares about that or does she want her car to be nice and smooth to get her to the shops?

Well done that man!
