Hi neily03, how long did it take to get your new bumper? My car has been in for repair two weeks now after the wing mirror damage (earlier thread). The body shop phoned today saying they were still waiting for a bumper to be delivered.

Oh sorry should have read the title of the topic more. I have a tdi vrs estate. Not sure if this will help or hinder the mpg compared to a hatch.

I have now covered 1500 miles since new and the trip computer says mpg since start is 49.6mpg. I do a daily commute to work of 13 miles each way of fast A roads and a couple of Motorway trips per week of 40 miles. I am very happy with mpg so far and look forward to it slowly creeping into the 50's

So it has been 10 days since the dealer reset the error. I hope I am not putting a jinx on it but it haven't happened again. Hoping this is my last post on this thread.

Orville, do you have it connected to 12v all the time ? Where on windscreen do you mount it? I would like to mount it near the mirror but would not want 12v hanging around all the time.

It is a 60 mph road. Me and audi were doing about 45 as it was the day after the gales so we were not pushing it. The BMW i estimate was doing speed limit. So adding the speeds together the mirror glass was impacted at around 100mph. Got to agree with cyclist comment. I am glad I was not a motor cyclist. It would have cut through leathers.

I have attached a few photos of my insurance claim. I was the victim of a black BMW taking the Audi A3 wing mirror off while in was driving behind the Audi. My VRS was showered with the mirror glass. I need a new windscreen , mirror, headlight. I need a respray to repair the scrapes down to the metal over half of the car!

I took mine in today. Dealer said they could see error on diagnostics but could not work out what bulb was faulty. They cleared fault and said see how it goes. I will see and if it happens again I will mention the 'Technical bulletin'.

Let me know how you get on. It could be we have the same error especially as we probably have the same build week (3) and possibly a faulty batch of parts or a lazy factory fitter.

Thanks for comments and advice. I will wait and see if it reoccurs, and if it does I will take it in to get it checked.

If it was traction control why did it show as a headlight warning on vehicle status screen?

Hi, I have had my VRS for 5 days. Saw an amber warning triangle flash up on the instrument cluster. So I checked the vehicle status on the bolero. It showed the drives headlight in yellow. I could not find anything wrong. On my next trip 1 hour later I didn't get any warnings and the lights appear to be working. Is the car computer diagnostics good enough to record what happened to tell the dealer if I ask them to have a look, or should I wait to see if it happens again? Anyone else seen anything similar?

I have searched the forums but cannot find a previous thread... Can I put radio station logo's on a Bolero head unit? If so, do any of you kind people know how i do it. Many thanks.

Yes I have same problem. I talked to dealer about it. You can remove the vari floor around the hook. I intend to use Velcro on hook then put vario floor mountings back over the top. I'll let you know if it works.
