  1. The first thing I would check regarding less mpg in a diesel engine with DPF is the engine oil level to see whether the level increases or not. As well as being used in normal operation of the engine, extra diesel is also injected into the cylinders to find its way to the DPF during regeneration to burn off the soot/ash deposits. If the DPF regeneration system (either injecting too much or too often) is faulty, the extra diesel is drawn into the crankcase and mixes with the engine oil
  2. The Yeti Owner's Manual states: The engine has to be run in during the first 1500 kilometres. Up to 1000 kilometres Do not drive faster than 3/4 of the maximum speed of the gear in use, i.e. 3/4 of the maximum permissible engine speed. No full throttle. Avoid high engine speeds. Do not tow a trailer. From 1000 up to 1500 kilometres Gradually increase the power output of the engine up to the full speed of the gear engaged, i.e. up to the maximum permissible engine speed. The red scale of the rev counter indicates the range in which the system begins to limit the engine speed. During the first operating hours the engine has higher internal friction than later until all of the moving parts have harmonized. The driving style which you adopt during the first approx.1 500 kilometres plays a decisive part in the success of running in your car. Never drive at unnecessarily high engine speeds, even after the running-in period is complete. On vehicles fitted with a manual gearbox, at the very latest shift up into the next gear when the red area is reached. Observe the recommended gear Gear recommendation. Very high engine speeds when accelerating (accelerator) are automatically restricted With vehicles with a manual gearbox, do not drive at unnecessarily low engine speeds. Shift down a gear when the engine is no longer running smoothly. Observe the recommended gear

    FL L&K Bluetooth

GSM II is already included in an L&K. The configurator SHOULD list the option as GSM III. Cross reference the configurator's GSM II Bluetooth option with the Yeti's brochure factory fitted accessories and the option is listed as GSM III. Which version you need depends on the available Bluetooth profiles of the phone or other devices you want to pair with. GB
  4. If that's true then Skoda have wasted an awful lot of money including L&Ks in the latest brochures, configurators, etc... + I would think there is a good chance buyers who have set their sights on a top of the range model are more likely to go elsewhere than settle for a "lesser" variant. GB
  5. The most likely explanation is that the order to build time for L&K's as got too long... so they are not taking any more orders for the time being until they get some more capacity back in the system. GB
  6. If you use the UK Yeti Outdoor configurator and choose the "rear mudflaps" option - in the final view the configurator shows not only the rear mudflaps, but also front ones fitted... yet there is no option available for "front mudflaps". If the "rear mudflap" option is not chosen... then neither mudflaps, front or rear, are shown. Question is... when choosing the "rear mudflaps" option - do they throw in the fronts as well? Or do you just get the rears? As the option only costs £20, it would appear remarkably cheap to have 4 mudflaps fitted... if that's the case? GB
  7. Not if they have a different coloured roof... GB
  8. Some more confusion regarding an L&K... pre-FL came with body-coloured mirrors. FL version doesn't according to configurator, either in the pics or listed in the text. Also, pre-FL had more bling with shiny trim on the door protectors, FL version configurator doesn't show or list them either. Betcha FL L&K's will still have the body-coloured mirrors and shiny door protectors no matter what the configurator shows. GB
  9. The configurator doesn't appear confused... all versions except L&K show non-LED rear lights if option isn't ticked, and show LED rear lights if it is ticked. Best seen by turning the car in the view option and saving as wallpaper. The L&K shows LED rear lights without any LED option being ticked (there isn't one anyway...) GB
  10. I think you will find that if the price of the goods that the dealer is supplying (the car) increases... then the dealer can cancel the contract (order) and refund any deposit paid. Most if not all dealers have the above, or similar, written into their terms and conditions bumph. It leaves them able to renegotiate... or walk away if they want to. GB
