  4. Hi all I'm having trouble getting hold of parts for my 98skoda fun I have a injector with a broken plastic plug that I need to replace. Usual problem with scrap yards is they have no idea what a fun is So I have been asked for a part no, which there is not one on the injector, The car is a 98. 1.6 Mpi fun, it has a red dizzy so is the bosh system, Does any one know what other vechiels that may run this system. I,e 98 1.6 polo or golf Or any one on the uk south coast that may have one any help or advice welcome.
  5. God dam stupid ipad, took photo, upload, Upside down, arghh Take screen shot of turned over photo. upload, Upside down Argh Either throw ipad cos it's irritating, Spend ages trying to upload it for a 3rd time. Post and forget the small stuff
  6. 2014 911 turbo, For a bonus And for once the posh git with the vanquish in our village Is left standing.
  7. At the moment yes but as soon as it's posable the answer to that one will be no. U don't need to touch it at all for the speedometer to fire up, it's set to do that on receiving power regardless of any app that may be running. It's also set to kill apps apon losing power so that it will go to sleep. Again no need for any input other than the power it receives to be removed. So the moment u start the car the system overrides what u are doing and starts the speedometer, and vice versa for when u turn the ignition off. I'm waiting for a friend to cut some plastic so no u won't be able to interface through the steering wheel. Rendering no touch screen within the drivers reach At the moment it has a speed lock that activates over 2mph so no playing while on the move is posable. I am going fit a usb port (mayby in the door shut) and the only way will be with a mouse, or touch pad/ or maybe a roll up key board, that will require plugging in but is not easy to perform while on the move, Or something along those lines, And I need to sort a secure folder for the critical apps so that these setting can't be changed easily.
  8. Not a easy one for me I'm afraid Might be easier for a bonus tho
  9. They were fine, with all my modifications weirdly All they asked was for me to fit locking wheel nuts. the original speedo has been remounted under the bonnet so is still active.

  15. The site I was thinking of doesent seem to have any at the moment, lots of radar stations and bases to the dishes that were there once, but only a few small dishes on distant buildings behind the wire fence, and armed guards at the gates, not rearly a photo taking kinda place. So sadly I'm all out of ideas
