  1. Hi Everyone, It has reached the time where I am now handing the Citigo back and I will sadly be leaving the briskoda forum. I just wanted to say a huge thanks to all those I met back in 2014/15 at the various shows and events, the briskoda forum has always been very welcoming. Alongside the events, I really enjoyed following the members projects and various discussions on the site, although I have lost track of how many parts Hyphons has fitted now... I may be back at some point, but for now I wish you all the best and good luck with the club. Alex PS: If anyone would like some free stainless pedals or fancies swapping their 15" Auriga Wheels for the Serpens above, please PM me...

Alex PS: If anyone would like some free stainless pedals or fancies a free swap for the 16" Serpens below, please PM me... The wheels have been looked after (no kerbing) and are fitted with Continental Eco Contact 5 185/50/16 tyres. Rear tread is 4mm and front tread is 5mm. Looking for some 15" Aurigas in return.
  3. I took my car in last week because my brake discs felt warped but they couldn't find anything wrong >.< but while the car was in they also did this 48l7 update for the power steering software, can't say I've noticed any difference.
  4. I thought it was matte when I saw this too, glad I'm not going mad, looks awesome though

    Snails?

Hi All, I was washing the car today and while under the bonnet I spotted this snail sitting on the alternator, unfortunately I think I was a bit too late as it looked rather well-done :( One of my friends asked if it was a new form of turbo but can't say I've noticed a power increase lol Has anyone else had this problem? I'm still trying to work out how it even got in there haha
  6. Yeah I spotted that on the configurator site today, also the DAB option is now available :(
  7. Yeah it's all fine now, I think it's because we applied it all just before the heat wave earlier this year and some parts needed a bit of a tidy up, an easy fix for the graphics guys [emoji1]
  8. I'm away on hols this week in "The Valleys" and I couldn't resist taking some photos
  9. You have waayyy more pictures posted on the forum than me haha, but I couldn't resist entering Hope you are doing well, it seems like ages since the National Meet, hoping to go to at least one more event before the year is over...
  10. I've actually found that my economy seems to be slightly better with the serpens but this may be down to the eco tyres I put on them?
  11. A really great effort on the track, I'm glad you still had some of your tyres intact by the end though haha Looked like great fun and hopefully I will be more prepared next year so I can join in too
  12. Awesome pictures guys, thanks for taking these today and the new sticker looks great
  13. Just to let people know that I also made it home safely  I'm soooo tired now after 400 miles of driving, I really enjoyed the day though. Met some awesome people again and enjoyed the Citigo convoy leaving the event haha
  14. I have searched all the forums over the last month or so and it doesn't seem like anyone has managed to achieve this yet :(
  15. Both my own car and my friends Citigo have this high pitched noise during Hill-Hold. I'm hoping that as I get older and my hearing get worse the sound will go away haha It's not really loud/annoying as such though but you can deifnately hear it.
  16. I did exactly the same thing two weeks ago when I went to Glasgow from Norwich which was 430miles. I was about 10 miles away from the hotel when the computer said I had 5 miles left, I was determined to get there on one tank though lol I am going to try and use even less fuel on the way back tommorow via the National Meet, I just wish that going south meant going downhill
  17. Hmmm this has given me an interesting idea... I wonder what standing on the seat would be like with Sunroof + Cruise Control haha
  18. I don't think tyre shine will be enough to make my white wheels look white again haha The weather here in Glasgow is terrible, its been raining non-stop since yesterday so will have to try and hide tommorow On another note, I don't suppose anyone else is travelling down from Scotland Area/North tommorow are they? I'm leaving Glasgow around 4am so wouldn't mind being in a small convoy to make the journey a bit more exciting
  19. I'm working till midnight too but I have to come from Glasgow, so apologies if I look a bit tired on Sunday haha
  20. I'm visiting Glasgow at the moment for the Commonwealth Games and I will be travelling down on the Sunday morning. It is about 4/5 hours from Glasgow according to Google Maps and then another 4/5 hours to get home to Norwich haha. I turned 23 this year and I know exactly how you feel, it doesn't seem like 5 years since I was 17-18... I had a classic mini as my first car though so I didn't trust the car to travel much further than 100 miles
  21. Thanks Colin, are there going to be any afternoon taster sessions at all?
  22. I will definately be trying to park with the other citigos Thank you very much for the offer, I'm still not sure i'll be going on the track this year but could be good for the show and shine
  23. If there is somewhere I can store stuff then I might be up for a taster session  Then for the show and shine I may need to try and find some car wash facilities nearby so I can remove all the bugs haha
  24. I am going to be there on my way back from Glasgow to Norwich. I would have loved to have entered into the show and shine and had a go on the track but with two large suitcases in the back I think not :(
