  1. Hi all, I wonder if anybody can give me a clue in where to look regarding my faulty horn! It has stopped working completely, I have checked the fuse and it's ok and I can hear a relay behind the fuses clicking when I press the wheel. After searching the forum I have found out there is a horn both sides of the bumper - I assume ( mother of all ) it would be unlikely for both to go faulty. Any ideas to save me from the dealers ? Regards Roger.
  2. Hi all, I have had a left rear light out for a couple of days (Bulb failure light on) . After I have replaced it neither side work now.... My question is what fuse number should I be checking as the owners manual does not seem to list it? Thanks Roger. Superb 1.9 TDI 100 classic
  3. Have you swapped from memory1 to memory2 whilst driving? Roger.
  4. It says clearly in my approved handbook what is not covered and water ingress is there at the top. I did get some help to pay the bill which would have been > 4.5K !!!!!!!! In the real world it was getting very close to the PX values now. Regards Roger.
  5. Just had mine at the dealers for 2 months and it was not covered by the approved war. as it excludes water ingress. If its a new car get it back as soon as you can. Good luck Roger.
  6. I found a small black screw driver bouncing about under the bonnet after a service !!!! Roger.
  7. Hey Guys, My lights are now sorted, Thanks again. Roger.
  8. Thankyou for the replys, I'm going to find a wall and have a play. Regards Roger.
  9. Has anyone adjusted their headlights as mine are just too low to be safe. The load adjuster next to the main light switch is already set to the highest setting so it requires me to go under the bonnet. On my old felicia the adjuster thumb screws were easy to find! Roger.
  10. I've just paid £1600 for the piston ring problem (Cam belt & waterpump while it was apart) for my wifes 1.4 16v at 41,000 miles Roger
  11. Good price....I paid £7k for mine. Enjoy, Roger.
  12. Where did you live?, as quite a few people on here could read your fault codes for you. Roger (Do not give too much info!!!)
  13. Has the car had the piston rings changed, all your quirks point to this? Roger.
