I've had the silencer removed in mine, it makes a nice deep sound as it should from standard! Plus the crackle is a lot louder on the up change. Well worth it!!

Sorry if this has been covered before, I couldn't find anything using the search function. I'm on the look out for some coilovers. I've currently got some H&R 40mm springs on my vrs at the moment but I'm after more lows and better handling. The ones I've found so far are either £200, £500 or £800, and in the description they say they will fit the polo 6r and ibiza 6j. So does that mean the ibiza and polo ones will fit? Even though the chassis are different? It's confusing stuff! Any help would be appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone on here has put 18's on the mk2's? Hopefully with no problems. The ones I'm looking are 18" with a width of 8" and an ET 57. The tyres would be about 215/35/18 or 220/40/18. Any help or advice would be greatly accepted!

Quick update. It seems to have stopped slipping from 2nd to 3rd, I'll still keep a close eye on it mind.

2010 with 30k on the clock, Yeah it's got warranty but it's ford's 'jen care' so I'll have to dig out and read the small print. If not I'll have to find a VAG specialist

I've had my vrs just over a year now and I've had no problems with the 7 speed box, but recently I've noticed it seems to be slipping the clutch in 2nd before changing into 3rd.. It's never done it before, I think a few people on here have had the clutch packs changed, I'm not sure what to do about it or if there is anything I can do.
