  1. SeanyScout's post in 2008 Scout cutting out was marked as the answer   
    Problem solved. Turned out we had an overheating relay, which was switching off as it got too hot. It was relay 416. Below the steering, in the centre of the relay box. Cost about €12 to replace but about €a-bit-more to find.
