  6. Just doing short journeys at moment so to help car warm up fitted grille guard, definate improvement.
  7. The electrical prep does not include the battery charging and fridge circuit if you need those circuits. This was mentioned in the brochure by an asterix next to towbar prep so I didnt bother with prep and had full job done when car was delivered.
  8. Hi Yves. I am using the Nokian WR A3 Tyres. http://www.nokiantyres.com/winter-tyres/nokian-wr-a3/
  9. Winter tyres fitted, bring on the heatwave. Summer alloys good polish and seal with poorboys wheel sealant wrapped in there tyre bags and fitted to wheel tree. That will do for today
  10. Alfa Romeo GTV, not most reliable by a long shot but even more fun than my impreza sti import.
  11. Very happy with the Nokian Winter Tyres both for grip and price.
  12. and that is my trade in for a smaller tinbox, as this ways in at max of 1500kg so Superb very comfortable with it.
  13. I normally only use Columbus as well and not had any problems so far . But also have Co-pilot on my smartphone which I can select RV Mode for. Then it picks routes on major roads and tries to avoid back roads or excessive turns.
  14. No problems with it here as a previous TomTom and CoPilot user more than happy with it.
  15. Another westfalia detachable towbar user here. Whole kit fitted by dealer approx £550 with haggling. 13 pin electrics, so charges battery fridge powers alko atc system and turns off rear fogs and rear sensors shows a trailer fitted on columbus when hooked up, also disables start stop on DSG model we have and as mentioned is connected to vehicle alarm system. No problems using the kit however have added a D shackle onto attachment for breakaway cable as it was a right pita to get too
  16. This is what my FL 2014 model came with in January as you can see both SW and map version higher than yours. But as long as you are able to start again all good and as you say get maps updated on next service under deal arranged. Apologies for pic quality
  17. This is where i got it from but a few other suppliers on Google if you search for Waeco Coolpower M50U http://www.seamarknunn.com/acatalog/waeco-coolpower-m50u-voltage-monitor-2095.html?gclid=CjwKEAjw1ZWgBRD-n6ew0oan1xwSJABAbf8pWRkhUjH1LZXZc8U-b-SP_n-dVQF8hbULIcuKSw6M6xoCWh7w_wcB#.VAX5K_ldXi0
  18. I went for a piggyback fuse on cigar lighter fuse along with a waeco power supply unit cuts out if battery drops to 11.5v. All fitted by fuse panel ok
  19. Yep thats for a speed warning not for tyre pressure monitoring
  20. Well for some reason my winter wheels always had the warning light but when refitted my standard oems I was able to reset and warning light went off. Also if it is rolling radius if spare tyre new and other tyres are worn the light could come on. At the time had only just got car so i maybe didnt follow correct procedure will find out this year for definate. But my logic on new spare will work for rolling radius
  21. Also if the spare does not have a TPMS transmitter the Light will remain on i believe.
