Lease is up!!

I have a 63 plate vRS TDI on a two year lease. I have been really happy with it (first Skoda) and will be having another! The question is, do I swap to the TSI engine? The TDI performance is decent but I'm itching for more! Also any recommended extras? Two young children so maybe privacy glass should be considered. Currently driving vRS TDI Hatch Brilliant Silver Black Pack Silver Geminis

Had my vRS about six weeks, covering 1200 miles. On my way home this afternoon I hit a pothole on a roundabout at low speed. Quite a noise and having checked my nearside front wheel I noticed a small bulge on the tyre wall. I am presuming a garage will deem it unsafe and declare a replacement is necessary. How much is a new tyre likely to be 18" gemini and can I claim off the council? A little bit annoyed to put it mildly!!

vRS hatch TDI getting 56mpg on a steady 17 miles commute, 50 if I give it a bit of right foot. Only a few days old so quite happy!

It's brilliant silver so prop looks decent even without a wax but wanted to get your opinions

I'm collecting my new vRS hatch on Friday which is very exciting. Just wanted people's thoughts on new car protection. I will only keep the car for two years so not sure it is worth the expense of autoglym lifeshine or professional detailing. With a busy work and home life, it is most likely I will not be cleaning the car very often myself so is regular valeting the way forward? Interested to hear your thoughts as I'm determined to keep my vRS looking good.
