  1. You have done a lot. Hate to think how much it cost. But I'm sure the way it drives now its all worth it. Enjoy it.
  2. If its a group buy I'll buy one. Otherwise I'm thinking two blanking plates.
  3. I think itl be the standard OEM? It looks normal and not a new one etc
  4. I paid £3,800. Is the volume the circular two inch dial in the middle? It goes around but doesnt press. Its flat and just allows me to slide it both clockvise and anti clockwise
  5. Hi guys. I just bought a Vrs 55 reg that had done 71,000 miles. Been looking on here for awhile. Nothing had been coming up. Hope hope you guys agree I got an alright deal. Also it has remapping done. Two things I realised. The suspension is terrible. Every time I would go over a bump I'd feel it in my spine. Is this normal or is there something wrong with it? Also the stereo wont come on. I didnt check when I bought it. My bad. I tried on the way home and it doesnt do anything I dont know how to switch it on. Its not indicating anything. Is it broken? Sorry for being slow this is my first Fabia and I really dont know much apart from what I have tried to read up on here.
  6. I have to agree any forum would reflect that. But I think its good that members are honest and its with any car really there is always something going to go wrong. But at least on here there's honest advise. Im still hopefully going to buy one. Just need to find the right one.
  7. *gulp* I was hoping to steel a march on my wallet and buying a car that wouldn't give me any problems for a while. Lol
  8. When looking at the vrs should I purchase on which has its turbo and other work done or should I just make sure I get one with low miles. Around 75k for £3500. Is that cheap?
  9. Lol feel like an idiot. I didn't know that. The mk2 is out of my budget ideally wanted to spend between 3 - 4 k. So I have to buy a 1.9 vrs. Thankyou for your help
  10. Hey guys and girls. I'm posting for the first time on here. Wanted to say I have been reading on here and you guys seam to have one of the best car forums. I'm wanting some advice if possible. I really really want to buy a fabia vrs mk 1. But I'm just a little confused on some things. Firstly what is the difference in car and mpg between the 1.4 and 1.9. I been searching for a 1.4 but there don't seam to be any for sale and on gum tree etc there are only 1.9. Initially I didn't even consider the 1.9 thinking maybe its too much for what I need etc. But then some people say the mpg is actually better on the 1.9. So I am truly confused Also sorry if this has been noted before. I have been reading but haven't come across a noob guide as of yet. I have only been looking into this for a week. Really want to take the plunge and buy one but don't want to make any mistakes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
