  1. My 2019 Mustang GT has 4 exhaust modes all set by flaps in the tail pipes, Quiet (can be set by the time of day for start up), Normal, Sport or Track šŸ˜šŸ‘.
  2. They are quite long as well which I'd guess would add to the difficulty with the bends in the Rotherhithe Tunnel lol
  3. I know what you mean, I think that its 2" wider than the Superb so I'll be giving roads with width restrictions a wide berth until I'm used to it
  4. Sorry to say that I've left the Skoda fold and gone to the dark side of Ford ownership. I've met some really nice people through this forum and been to some great events following joining in 2013 when I had a Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Black Edition followed by a Superb 3 L&K 280 4x4 Hatch. Feel free to look at my post in the Superb 3 section. Thanks for the ride guys and girls and especially ColinD
  5. After 3+ years of faithful service I said goodbye to my Superb 280 L&K last Friday and hello to Ford Mustang 5.0 GT Fastback Auto. Not a lot of difference I know but felt that I needed a last hooray as I'm in my 65th year . Out with the Old šŸ˜¢ In with the new Please see my adds in the Classified Section for some parts and accessories that I'm selling that include a Spacesaver Spare and Tool Kit
  6. I had an Arrow end can fitted by the dealer, sometimes you can be lucky and get accessories from Triumph at discounted prices .
  7. Thanks for your prompt response. My local Triumph dealer installed a V-System for me on my Sprint GT SE and it was fine, however they now have a policy not to fit any items not sourced from Triumph so I figured that either the X-System or the Fully Electronic System should be less invasive options, I get what you say about the pricing however oiling chains is a pain in the backside.
  8. What do you think about the Scottoiler X-System was thinking about this for my Tiger 800 as the Scottoiler V-System isn't recommended?!
  9. My car was registered on the 5th March 2016, the MOT was carried out on the 6th February 2019 and the expiry date is the 4th March 2020 so you can get 13-months MOT on your 1st MOT. The earliest that I can present the car to retain the expiry date is the 5th February 2020.
  10. I like the way your parking bays are big enough to get a Superb in, in the UK you would normally have either your front or rear outside of the marked bay .
  11. Thats rubbish luck, I hope their hands fall off!
  12. Washed the Tiger today and filled it up, might not get another chance for a while!
  13. Sounds like you could have a duff car battery, Iā€™d get the dealership to investigate!
  14. Are both fobs the same? as it could be a fob battery issue. I find that I have to be quite close to the drivers or front passenger door for it to work, also make sure that no part of your hand is near the lock "touch sensitive area" when you are trying to unlock the car.
  15. Drove back from the girlfriends in Norfolk ready for a very early start tomorrow's drive down to just outside Bath for Xmas
  16. I don't know what Santa is bringing me yet, I didn't put anything bike related on my list however gift vouchers from the Lind Group of H-D Dealerships can always be spent
  17. I heard about this in the summer, it will certainly be a head turner
  18. Mine has HID for dip and mainbeam and the headlights automatically go into "travel mode".
  19. Had the 12-month/6k miles service done on the Tiger (its only done 1314-miles), very happy with Triumph East London who asked me to take it back for them to investigate a slight oil leak to be fixed under warranty! All ready for my Toy Run on Saturday Need to think of a little jaunt over to Europe to give it some exercise.
  20. Yes, I'm really glad that I wasn't there TBPH mate, all sounds a bit nasty, the guy was an IAM Observer so pretty well trained, but that counts for nothing if you are taken out! I still don't know what happened, and part of me doesn't really want to know, your mate sounds like a classic mad moment that I guess we are all guilty of, they normally end ok, but there is always the chance that it could end in tears. I've slowed down a lot since my days of Honda Blackbirds, you'd be suicidal to go mad on the Electraglide and the Tiger 800 also helps keeps me sensible, I'd rather take 10-minutes longer to get there now TBH, when I rode the Harley to the Czech Republic and back in July my partner could only rest when I'd checked in at the end of each days ride so I know that it worries her, however its what I like to do and its part of me so whilst I still enjoy it I'll keep twisting that throttle (unless cruise control is engaged). Just booked accommodation in Faaker See Austria for European Bike Week in September next year .
  21. Sorry about your mate fabiamk2SE. Recently lost a club (not H-D) member on a ride out, I wasn't there so don't know what happened, sounds like a bit of a do though as the car involved caught fire and those on the rideout were not only doing what they could for him as well as rescuing the elderly couple in the involved car that had caught on fire! Unfortunately despite the best efforts of the club members and the emergency services the guy died at the scene, I don't really know any more details than that so no idea how the accident actually happened. Really glad I wasn't on that particular ride!
  22. Looks like we are both right, not sure if Iā€™d want your salt on my chips though lol
