Hi I've got an octavia mk2 with rough tick over. It's been in a diagnostic machine. The code is 18072/P1664 Can anyone shine a light on what could be wrong plz Many thanks

So I'v now had my starter motor check my a specialist and it's working fine. He has said it's a diesil problem. So it's going on a vag com tomorrow to see if that can point us in the right direction. Any other ideas Cheers sara

Iv got the same problem. Changed my battery and still the problem is there. Iv been told that cause the car is turning over it's not the starter motor. I am still lost as wat is can be. Do you think it's worth renewing the injector seals. Thanks sara

Hi have mk2 octavia 332684 on the clock it's a taxi. Starts great cold but it takes a good 6,7,8 times to fire when warm. Iv had my battery tested and it's still got enough in it to start (so the guy said). Iv changed my fuel filter just incase. But it's still not firing. My mechanic seems to think it's the fuel pump but I don't want to throw money at it if he only thinks. Can anyone try and shed a light on what the fault might be. Cheers
