Temp, both outside and product. Not shaken enough. If it's cold and you have a bit of moisture in the air then this can effect the end result. Of course it might just be that the LSP is more about gloss and durability than it is clarity.

Go to a petrol station and use the jet wash (some use hot water and that really makes a difference getting the grime off), take a pump sprayer of chosen pre-wash (be it apc, citrus pre-wash, what ever you choose). Spray, jet wash, drive home with the majority of the crud removed. Dont use the brush, just the jet wash. I would just buy some APC and dilute down (I use G101 at 10:1 when its really dirty and been down farmers lanes), just make sure you don't let it dry on whilst your walking around spraying the car. You can of course miss the petrol station out (if too far away for instance) and just be careful.

It's not a bleeding fallout remover, but it is a fallout remover. Does the same job without the colour change.

And still for sale, not really in a rush (as you can tell). Just got its MOT, had rear discs and pads fitted (Brembo). Will be having a service in the next few days/weeks as well. Still same price (but always open to a chat).

RED7 is a budget product, for trade (because customers like the bleeding effect), it isn't as effective (by effective I mean I can still spray on Tim's version and it will "bleed" after using RED7, where as takes one hit with Tim's or BH or IronX) as Tim's, BH, IronX and others. However, it is cheap so if price is a big thing for you.................... Bilberry is ok, but that's it. Unless you know the products well I would keep out of the way of the Espuma, it is a really strong wheel cleaner and not something I would use often. Smart wheels down at 10-1 is fine for a monthly clean if your not using a wheel product to protect them (be it a wax or sealant). Don't forget to add a Tar remover as well, because you may find one you have cleaned the wheels you will find spots of tar. So if you go AutoSmart, ring him up and get the RED7, Smart Wheels, Tardis and maybe Highstyle. You always decant into 1 Litre and see if local members want/need some.

It's raining!!! Yipeee (sort of) So the glass was clayed, glass polish (AG) IPA at 30% (handy I have around 8Litres of 99% IPA anyway), then tape down the center of the front and rear glass. Drivers side with H2Go, passenger with Ez. At the same time both sides done (drivers with H2Go passenger with Ez inc mirrors). H2Go applied via make up pad, Ez sprayed on and buffed in with new MF. So in the rain today you can see the difference, the H2Go are rounder and less of them. The Ez flatter and lots of them, but you can tell something is on the glass. With a watering can the H2Go sheets really fast and leaves very little, the Ez sheets slower and leaves the small flat droplets. Now just to go for a drive and see at what speeds they both move at. Just not today. At the moment of course H2Go is better, after all its sold as a sealant whereas the Ez is sold as a glass cleaner with a sealant in it.

Got some Caliper Paint off ebay, dosn't look that far off the right colour. Pity it's raining. Cambelt and Water pump done, clips and screws picked up. It's not an exciting update nor project, it's just a daily!

So looking at a bit of sound reduction. Under the rear seats and of course, being an estate, the rear floor, under the spare etc Standard carpet underlay (cheap and alot of it) has been mentioned, but thinking this is ok for under seats and carpet (well yeah) but wont be tidy. Yup. As long as it's not got deep scratches dings etc and the same for alloys it should be fine. However doing it the cheapest way its Halfrauds or use the Wash N Wax you see on TV. If time and money isnt a bother then you could always go the Glare route and use that system.

Just got (as in turned up today in the post) the vRS Green you find on ebay. Having popped the lid it dosn't look that far off colour wise. But I do have a mk1.

Just looking around for prices at the moment, so if you spot any really cheap (and looking at ebay means you get an empty tank but add the resin and its nearly the same as buying new, save around £10 which for me isnt worth it) but most are price matching each other within a few pounds.

The company I am looking at are doing free delivery at the moment, so dosn't need to be collected from a central point. Saves a bit of hassle if we stick with this one company. If people are interested, have a look around and lets see if we can do a price match type of thing. I am seeing £111 delivered for 11Litre filled with resin. Plus need a TDS meter.

Ok, so me and a mate are getting water filters (pre-filled and then bags of resin together with TDS meters), wondering if anyone wants to join in and try to save on postage? If you don't know of water filters, it will take your water down from (for instance) 380ppm to 0ppm, meaning in basic terms, no water spots on your car even when you just leave it to dry, so no drying towels needed! Whilst you can use it for the full wash (everything from foaming, shampoo, rinse, final rinse) most use it just for the final rinse, making the resin last longer. For postage reasons these will be getting delivered to mine, so ideal if your in Manc or near. Again like all things I do, no profit on my side, just being helpful. As a note to admin this isn't a group buy its just trying to save a few quid on postage because Northern!!!!!

Can you buy the sealant that VAG use to seal the underbody with? Aerosol or brush on would be best. Just need to tidy up a few small spots.
