Hi it is a dtm splitter from superskoda.com
  1. Hi there! Could someone please Photoshop the Bentley wheels onto either picture of my Fabia? I'm completely hopeless at photoshop, wouldn't even know where to begin... Thanks in advance! Jonathan
  2. I was 22 when I bought my mk2 fabia vrs. I had 5 years no claims, no points, no problems at all. Hastings wouldnt insure me until I was 28!? (I was with them already with previous car). I went with Premium Choice who insure younger drivers with fast cars. It was £625 fully comp but I have recently moved, which took it down to £525. I was very happy with this.
  3. Hi there, About to fit a new air filter but I don't own any torx drivers. Im, going to borrow one from a local bike shop but not sure what size I need and don't want to ask for all of them to try! does anyone know what size I need? Kind regards Jonathan
  4. Ive recently moved to Sandhurst, Camberly. Just came across this thread. Wouldnt mind talking to someone face to face about little bits and bobs I want to do to my mk2 vrs
  5. Sorry! completely forgot about this thread! Just happened to click back on it. No I havent bought one yet but reading around, a lot of people are saying a brace for the mk1 will fit a mk2. Bit worried about having to drill, I thought I could just bolt straight on..
  6. Cheers, I'm sure it will be fun, I really want to do it but I don't know any track etiquette, I don't know who has right of way in certain situations so would probably go for the tuition! I didn't know they offered such a service. I'll have to find a few tracks near to me.
  7. are there track days you can go to if you've never been to a track day? I dont even know what Id need to do one. But i really dont want to wreck my car..

Has this been photo shopped to look lower?
  9. My super sexy Fabia VRS in an abandoned multi story.
  10. Enjoying a lovely (fake) cup of tea at the delightful polo club...I simply had to bring my car along...
  11. Thats good to know. I suppose if I buy something and it doesn't fit or isn't right I could return it.
  12. Hi there, I have a mk2 Fabia VRS (62 plate if that makes any difference) and I want to fit a nice shiny strut brace but I cant for the life of me find one! When I Google it I just get page after page for parts for the mk1 but no one seems to do anything for mk2. Are they the same? Will a mk1 strut brace fit a mk2? I hope someone can help!! Jonathan
  13. I'm 22, got a 62 plate vrs. I dont feel like an old person driving it, but Skodas do tend to be driven by older people! Another thing to consider as well is insurance. As a 22 year old male I thought it would be hard to get insurance, and it kinda was. The insurance company I was with on my previous car said they wouldnt insure me, despite 5 years no claims, no convictions, no points... and other companies were charging £5k+ I then found a company on a price comparison website that insured me fully comp and protected no claims for £675! I then went on a different comparison website and the same company came up top with a price of £625!?.... It pays to compare the comparison websites...

I bought this car from a Skoda dealer, Willis Motors in Ruislip. The car was 10 months old and these came on the car already. Im guessing the previous owner put them on. I love them...Really finish the car off. Not sure if the dealer knew they were on?
  15. LED number plate lights definitely complete the look. Should be a standard.
  16. My new pride and joy. (finally worked out how to upload pictures)
  17. Are there any track days or events for people who have never been to one before? I just bought a new Fabia VRS and wouldn't mind trying it out on a track day, are there specific 'noob' track days for people like me to learn track day etiquette? Jonathan
  18. A local meet? That sounds good, can I find out about these on this forum?
  19. Hi everyone, I just bought a Fabia VRS, pick it up on Tuesday, very excited!! I've currently got a V reg Felicia which my mum had from new then gave to me when I passed my test, had that for just over 5 years, absolutely love that car, very reliable, in the 14 years we've had it its never gone wrong. Really excited, to not only have heating and power steering but the meaty engine. I'm glad there's a forum like this to get advice from, I've never been into tuning cars as I think if done not well it can ruin a car! but if people can recommend good reputable companies for certain jobs in the future when I want more from my car that would be great. Here's a picture from my computer I took of it! Already love it and I haven't even driven it! Seriously, the days are dragging...I feel like a 6 year old waiting for xmas... Jonathan
