I agree with you, but it is very annoying not to get the correct build. I am waiting to see what I am offered in compensation. Perhaps they will refund the £145 I paid for mats and mud flaps and £30 of diesel !

They release the seats from the boot , but you can also release from the backrest of the seat itself

The handles were missing on my Octavia estate as well. I was told they can not now be fitted and that it was a factory mistake !

Further to my posting on seat release handles on estate. Dealers taking this up with Skoda, seems it was a incorrect build ! Waiting to see what they are going to do about it, can't be fitted now.

Delivered on Tuesday, SE 1.6 tdi estate DSG red. Happy so far, but annoyed that spec is not as per brochure.(no seat release handles in boot)

It was factory order so I will check dealer. Expect it can not be retrofitted

I have just got a new estate SE spec, and it has no rear seat release handle in the boot as per the brochure. Very annoying as all the reviews over the summer state this being a new feature. Anyone else had this problem?
